"Looks like you already did though." Nique responds smoothly in a joking turn.

I laugh nervously.

"Anyways.." I trail off.

I find myself leaning into her chest, her floral perfume further taking me into a state of euphoria.

She instinctively wraps her arms around me.

In this moment, it's just the two of us.

The next day.

I'm sitting in Dunkin' Donuts looking at Kierra and Danielle and the stupid smiles on their faces.

"Why the hell are y'all looking at me like that?" I ask, side eyeing them as I sip from my iced coffee.

"We saw your ass yesterday girlllll." Danielle teases.

"Bitch of course y'all did..wasn't that the plan?" I retort.

"There wasn't a plan girl," Kierra chimes in, "like that would be some shit she does, but for real."

Danielle looks at her crazy.

"Me??" She asks incredulously.

"Yes girl..this wouldn't be the first time you've tr-" Kierra starts, but Danielle covers her mouth.

"Anyways..this wasn't planned," She says, "Nique told me she wasn't coming."

"Hmm..whatever y'all sayyy." I respond, raising my eyebrows as I sip my drink.

Danielle opens her mouth to respond but Kierra bites her finger, causing her to wince, pulling her hand away from Kierra's mouth.

"Nigga ouch what the fuck?!" She exclaims, holding her finger.

"The price you pay." Kierra responds with a shrug and Danielle mugs her.

"Anyways.." I start, looking between the two of them as I shake my head.

"That girl couldn't stop talking about you after the party..she still can't honestly." Danielle says with a smirk.

I bow my head, smiling ear to ear.

"Awww look at her cheesingggg!" Kierra exclaims, poking my cheeks.

"No I'm not, bye. " I respond, swatting at her hand.
