As a shy person, I never imagined myself dating a hockey player, but his confidence on the ice swept me off my feet.

I was standing there sipping on my drink when suddenly i heard mark bring me into the conversation

"Hey guys, this is my girlfriend," Mark spoke as he pulled you closer

"Can she even speak?" Ethan, I think his name is, joked as I haven't spoken a word all night

"Yeah, she's just a bit shy at first." Mark started to get protective I quickly laced our fingers together gently rubbing my thumb over his knuckles

"Come on man, you can do better than a wallflower," Luke spoke it went from teasing to not quickly, I could feel tears well up in my eyes
