Chapter 10

ALINA'S POV

"I'm sorry, you're my what!?" I question Adrian.

I don't think I heard him right.

He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.

"We're twins. Did no one tell you?" He said looking anxious

I shook my head. "No"

I went back into my room and sat down on by bed.

"I'm sorry about my reaction, I think it's absolutely baffling that we're twins! I mean that's the coolest thing ever!"

Adrian came into my room as well obviously feeling a little more comfortable with me.

"Do we have telepathy? Because I had twins in my old school and they told everyone they did. Do we?" I asked him.

That would be so cool. A special bond with a special person.

"I'm not sure but we can try" Adrian said excitedly.

"Ok let's go! So what do we do then?" I asked

"Um how about we think of a random word. That's gotta be a fair way to do it right?"

I agreed.

"Ok so you count down from 3 and then we say the word after Go" I said to him.

"3"

"2"

"1"

"Go"

"Planes"
"Planes"

We stared at each other in silence.

"AWESOME"
"AWESOME"

We stared at each other again.

"That's gotta be pretty clear evidence we have twin telepathy!" He told me excitedly.

"This is the best!" I said whilst yawning.

"Oh I'm so sorry! You were probably sleeping when I barged in here, I'll go twinny!" Adrian basically screamed looking flustered before he exited my room

That was weird.

I shrugged it off. I was tired but happy.

I have a twin. The other half of me! Literally from the same cells!

Plus he's been really nice to me since I got here.

I'm so happy he's my twin.

I climbed back into my bed after making sure my phone was on charge.

As it's old it takes a long time to charge. In order for it to be fully charged it needs the whole night.

I turned my lamps off.

As I layed down ready to fall asleep my door was slammed open.

I sat up worriedly after flinching like crazy.

Was someone coming to attack me?

Were they going to hurt me thinking I was asleep?

"IM BACK!" a voice screamed as someone turned my light back on.

I took deep breaths trying to recover. I thought I was going to get hurt again.

"Adrian don't do that I got scared!" I told him.

"Oh sorry. I'm sorry I feel as thought I'm saying sorry to you a lot. I don't mean to do anything bad or annoying" he replied nervously.

"You're not annoying in anyway but you need to let me know if you are coming back. I was on the verge of sleeping" I reassured him.
