Dear Kruno, 

First of all, thank you for your Christmas present. The blanket you gave me will keep me warm during this cold winter. Also, I received your photo. I am glad to know how the man I am speaking to looks. I read your letter at least twenty times. I am so thankful people from the outside like me. 

Yes, I am innocent. I didn't kill Marin, it was my wife who did it. She wanted to run away with him, but he refused to do such a thing because we were best friends. When she realised he had already told me about the affair they had, she decided to kill him and pin it on me. Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to fall in her trap. But I don't want to talk about that anymore. I felt very honored when I read how you feel about me. I am straight, but I appreciate it very much. Please tell me more about yourself. I would like to keep in touch with you from time to time.

P. S. I also sent you a little something. I could barely pass it through the prison security, but luckily enough, I have someone here who helps me with these kinds of things.
