A/N: I finally come back and its with a smut scene lol! Ill put a warning of where the smut starts so that those who dont want to read it can skip it. Im hoping to finish this book this year lol but I know myself well so lets just hope I finish by next February.

"This is my family archive. We keep all the information that we collect down here." She wore a woeful smile as she looked down the steps, the torch lit bottom coming into view. "I'm all that's left. Me and ayumi." She stopped talking as she led shikamaru to the shelves of scroll. He looked in wonder at all the information locked away for generations. She always told him everything but this was hidden. "This is where you always disappeared? To write and read the scrolls here?" He wandered to the shelf and pulled a scroll off. He read it, it was a ledger of customers that frequented the sugimoto assistance. "Yes, all the information I ever needed was here and if it wasn't, I wrote it myself but recently the information I want I just can't find. Any account on what killed my family, the ties to danzo, any scroll on danzo is gone."

Her anger was palpable as she shook in rage. "Ayumi, that bastard must have took them. To keep the elders safe from me." shikamaru flinched. "What do you mean safe from you?" he asked as he looked her in the eye, rolling the scroll back up and placing it on the shelf. "I have never lied to you shikamaru, and I wont now." she met his gaze, unwaveringly. "I will kill all three of the elders. Danzo will be last but the other two, I will murder." she approached a shelf and opened the case. A anbu mask that ayumi let her keep due to how chipped and broken it was resided on a stand. She wore it when she helped gaara save matsuri, kami's younger sister. "(Y/n)! You can't be serious! Talk to me first, what is making you go this far?"

She looked at him, she was tempted to tell him but she believed he already knew.

He does.

"Shikamaru, I have never lied to you." she started, reiterating what she said prior. "I know why all of this happened to my family, why this has haunted my life's freedom. And so do you, but you never told me. Why?" she questioned as she held the mask in her hands. "I-." he paused as she gave him a moment to come up with a lie. He took a deep breath and looked down at the ground. "I didn't want you to hate us. To make us pay for our forefather's mistakes. I thought that you would trust us and choose to forgive." he looked at her with desperation. "I didnt try to hide it and manipulate you, I wanted you to over come this. To just learn the truth then grow from it, not follow sasuke-" she clicked her tongue.

"Here we go, was comparing me to sasuke supposed to be an insult?" she took a step towards him. "You want me to fear the concept of getting my revenge because of being seen as a criminal? Shikamaru, I've killed plenty. 3 old fucks wont make a difference." She glared before it melted into one of indifference. "I'm telling you this so that when i'm gone, you all know why." Shikamaru reached a hand out and grabbed her hand. "Please dont do this, you know this is wrong. This is not what will make you happy." She looked at him, his face twisted in despair as he begged for her to reconsider. Her heart was heavy, vulnerability flickered on her face as she pulled her hand away.

"Stop this, shikamaru why cant you just turn a blind eye? Why do all of you try to stop things from happening to people who deserve it! You want me to forgive your forefathers, the elders, danzo! My family, my existence has been altered by all of this and you want me to smile and fuck it away with you?" tears spilled down her face as she glared at him. "I love you all, but somethings are meant to happen." shikamaru's eyes watered as he dropped to his knees and prostrated himself. "Please, they will kill you. I don't want to lose you. Not to something like this! We can find another way, anything but this!" he looked up at her, his hands grasped for her but she stepped back, her head shaking rapidly. Shikamaru felt the tears fall as he crawled after her. "Stop! Stop this, I don't want to hear it." she covered her ears and turned away.
