Unofficial Girlfriend

Rhian's POV

There is nothing in this world so beautiful than to wake up next to the love of your life. The sleeping form of Glaiza next to me is heaven.

I am an early riser because I do my workouts in the morning. I check my phone for the time, it's only 4 AM. Then it vibrated,

Jase calling...

"What the hell.." I murmured. I don't want to talk right now. At least not to him. I'm don't want to deal with this man if I have this beautiful woman sleeping next to me. I hit cancel.

"Uhhmm 'bat hindi mo sinagot?" Then I felt two arms hugging my tummy slowly pulling me back to bed.

She's awake.

"Bakit pa...I just want this moment to be ours. Atin ang mundo ngayon, Glaiz."

"Baka magtaka yun na ki-nancel mo yung call." How did she even know na it was Jase.

"Sino pa ba ang tatawag sa 'yo this dead hour." She knew me that much na pati iniisip ko alam n'ya?

I shifted and faced her. "Ikaw ang gusto kong maka-usap at makasama ngayon. Ikaw ang gusto kong makayakap."

"We are on the same page," Then she planted a kiss on my lips.

That was quick but everything inside me reacted. Para akong na kuryente. I couldn't even compare that to the kisses I had with Jase nor with other men before him. As simple and quick as that, nabuhay ang buo kung pagkatao. There is nothing to compare, period.

"Halika, toothbrush muna tayo." Then she laughed. The sweetest sound I heard so far.

I punched her lightly on the arm. "Panira moment ka talaga, Love.

Well, this is for real, fresh breath in the morning is a fairytale.

Did I reiterated enough that this was the best morning I had since my dad's last Christmas with us? Habang nag hahanda kami para sa taping, wala kaming ginawa kung hindi mag harutan, mag tawanan.

We had at least a dozen of stolen kisses from each other. I just wanted everyday to be like this. Para akong nasa cloud 9.

We arrived sa set together. We spotted Katrina and Mike having their breakfast at the small gazebo. Medyo busy na ang lahat.

"Hala, magkasa yang Ex mo Wila at ang Jowa n'ya." biro ni Mike kay Katrina. Katrina even played it by glaring at us and rolling her eyes.

"Hoy kayong dalawa, 'bat ganyang mga pagmumukha n'yo? Anong nangyari kagabi, ha? Umanin kayo" sabay tawa.

"Hi, guys." bati sa kanila ng Love-love ko. We gave them each a hug.

I placed my arms sa bewang ni Glaiza and rest my head on her shoulder. "Sa amin nalang kong ano man ang nangyari last night."

Then, I laughed. Napa-iling na nalang si Glaiza sa sinabi ko. She's not expecting that. Well, kahapon pa ako nasa mood maki ride on sa tuksuhan, why stop now.

"Sarap naman n'yang breakfast n'yo. Love-love kain tayo." Then she kissed the top of my head.

Halos mabilaukan si Mike at Katrina sa narinig kay Glaiza. Ewan ko ba bakit instead na kabahan, I feel proud na yun ang tawag n'ya sa'kin in front of your friends.

"Love-love? Hahaha grabe, ano ito? Tutuhanan na talaga?" Inabutan ni Mike ng tubig si Katrina then kumuha rin s'ya at sabay silang uminom.

"Well, dapat kasi sa simula palang ng araw eh, in-character na kami para naman wala nang rehearsal di'ba. Jathea na talaga ang aura." I assured them. Pero pati ako ayaw kong maniwala.

"Jathea daw oh, Rastro nakikita namin eh.. Hahahaha well in fairness naman, kaya naman pala puro kayo take one. Galing ah.. paniwalang paniwala kami," sagot ni Kat.

"Oh ano pa hinihintay n'yo mga Lablab, kain na. Nasa loob ang cater, so kumuha nalang kayo doon, tapos labas kayo dito." Mike pointed the small make-shift tent kung saan naka station ang food service.

"Tara Love-love,"

Glaiza took my hands and lead me towards the tent.

"Uy, ingat mga lablab, alam n'yo na. 'Wag masyadong sweet baka magka diabetes."

From my peripheral vision, nakita ko ang mga knowing stares at tawanan ni Katrina at Mike. Well it's up to them kung maniniwala sila. I just want to be with my Love-love.

After eating breakfast, we went inside the dressing room to prepare. Then my phone vibrated again and I just know kung sino ang tumatawag.

"You know, it's better na sagutin mo na 'yan. You can't ignore him forever."

"I'm not ready."

"Love-love, magtataka yang boyfriend mo."

Yang Boyfriend mo. She really stressed the word boyfriend. And it hurts me.

"Sige sasagutin ko na." She took my free hand and kissed it.

"You want me to go out?"

"No, dito ka lang." I looked at her, with pleading eyes. I need her right now.

I then slide the locker to answer the call.

"Hi, you called early."

Na-miss ko lang kasi girlfriend ko. So nasa taping kana? Why did you cancel the call kanina?

"Ha? Sorry." Glaiza is still holding my left hand, she was about to release it but I quickly tighten my grip. "Nagulat lang ako. I was asleep when the phone went off."

Oh, okay. I'm going to pick you up later ha. Sabay tayong mag dinner.

This would be the perfect opportunity para masabi ko sa kanya. But I need to discuss this first sa unofficial girlfriend ko.

"Actually medyo hindi pa fixed yung sched ng taping namin today, so I can't really tell if what time matatapos. How about tomorrow, lunch maybe?"

Oh, so hindi pala kita pwedeng makita ngayon. I can hear disappointment in his voice.

"I'm so sorry. I'll text you tomorrow. Sige, I have to go. We need to prepare pa kasi."

I love you, okay see you tomorrow.

"Bye, Jase." I knew sobra s'yang disappointed but I just couldn't find the Rhian he used to know. Iba na ako ngayon, or let me say, this is the real me. Na matagal kong itinago.

"Wala man lang I love you, too?" She ask quizzically. Cupped my face between his hands and kiss my forehead.

"I couldn't bring myself to say it anymore, not to him. You reclaimed by heart, Glaiza de Castro."

She smiled, so genuine, so full of love.

We are still staring each other when we heard clapping.

"Nice! Are you rehearsing your lines for later? Hahahaha or is this for real?" That was Chynna. She's grinning like a hyena, leaning on the wall just beside the door. "I prefer to believe the later. Nakakaumay kayo!"

"We are just having a very intimate moment when you interrupt us, Batchi." I thought ako lang ang nakaka relate sa jokes ni Chynna. Pati rin pala itong Love-love ko.

"If that's true, try n'yo kayang mag lock ng door."

"Next time. We will hahaha." I took Glaiza's hand and went out to have our make up fixed. Iniwan namin naka nganga si Chynna.

"Naka hanap ka ng katapat mo, noh?. Hahaha!" I closed her mouth when we passed by the door. "Isarado mo papasok langaw jan."
