"I'll miss you," Irina frowns as she hugs Danny goodbye, the party long since over. Regular guests had been trickling out slowly the past hour and a half (Henry had left around thirty minutes ago), and Danny reluctantly said that he, too, would have to leave, as he signed up for the morning shift tomorrow.

Danny grins as he squeezes her waist in his arms. "You won't miss me for long, Ems," he murmurs. "I'm always in Manhattan. Just come by whenever you need a good non-alcoholic drink," he winks playfully at her as they part, and Irina laughs.

"Oh, I will. Make it back safe, though, alright? I can't lose my personal coffee machine."

"Asshole," smirks Danny. He turns to the two on her left, stretching out his hand to Steve and Barnes. "Captain America. Good to see you again, sir."

"Danny," Steve smiles briefly at him, giving a firm shake of their hands. "You play well."

Danny grins. "I was the reigning champ of beer pong back in my glory days," he shrugs. "So just through college."

Steve chuckles, and Danny breaks the handshake, moving on to Barnes, who narrows his eyes unblinkingly at him. "You both played a good game, man. I'll see you around?"

Barnes doesn't react. He hardly even blinks, staring dead into Danny's eyes. Irina watches on in amusement as her friend begins to grow nervous under the veteran's gaze. "Er - not a fan of handshakes. Got it. Done -"

"Barnes," Irina chastises softly, taking pity on the dirty blond, "play nice. Danny's been a good coworker to me."

Barnes sniffs. "Fine," he grumbles. He meets Danny's hand, fingers clasping on tight enough, it seems, that it has Danny jolting in surprise.

"Woah - talk about a firm grip," he murmurs.

Barnes shakes his hand once, still holding Danny's gaze intensely, before he breaks the handshake and leans back. Clearing his throat softly, Danny turns back to her, confusion written all over his face.

Irina waves him off. "Don't worry about it. Get going," she shoos him towards the waiting elevator.

Danny sighs theatrically, nodding solemnly. He and Irina share one last hug before he's leaving, going down to head back home. Once he is, she turns to the two towering super soldiers beside her.

She tilts her head to the last remaining members of the party, wordlessly telling them where to go. Steve gives a confirming nod, and they trail over to the couches and chairs.

Irina slides onto the arm of the chair Natasha sits on as she converses with Banner, who sits on the edge of the couch he, Agent Hill, Sam and Clint had claimed. The redhead, still invested in her chatter with the doctor, doesn't even spare Irina a glance as she reaches over and picks up a beer bottle, handing it to the brunette.

"Thank you," chirps Irina. She pops open the cap, taking a swig. She watches Steve and Barnes take their seats on the couch over by Thor, who hands the soldiers a flask. Of what? Hell if she knew.

"But it's a trick," says Clint, twirling a drumstick between his fingers with expertise.

"No, no," rumbles Thor with laughter, "it's much more than that."

Clint scoffs. ""Ah, whosoever be he worthy shall haveth the power"," he mocks, gesturing extravagantly to the mighty hammer that lay casually on the table. "Whatever, man! It's a trick."

Thor chuckles, then gestures to his trusted weapon. "Please, be my guest."

Silence falls over them, everyone looking at Clint. Tony gives a shit-eating grin. "Come on," he urges.
