"Madam!" Jane rushed into Rosetta's open arms.

"Jane! It's so good to see you again. I've missed you so much." Rosetta said, her voice soft but filled with warmth.

Today was Jane's return from her two-years study abroad. "So, how was your time in Paris? Did you make lots of new friends?"

Jane's eyes twinkled as she recounted her experiences. "Yes, I did. I even met famous people in some fashion show. Madam, did you know that I get to design the opening dress for the fashion week? It was an incredible journey thanks to you."

Jane Salvatore, was the polar opposite of Rosetta. She was shy and introverted, she felt overwhelmed by the darkness that enveloped their family's life. Thus her father, Don Salvatore struggled to relate to her quiet disposition and perceived her as weak. Their interactions were marked by tension and disappointment, leaving Jane with a deep sense of isolation.

Jane's mother was another one night stand woman that Don had. Usually Don was the person who gives them enough money after the night ends. But Jane's mother was someone who was suffering from last stage of cancer. Thus when she came to Salvatore mansion with Jane in hand and begged Don to take care of her daughter, that's the time Rosetta has seen Jane for the first time and taken a like on her because Jane obeyed everything Rosetta said and do everything that Rosetta make her do without asking anything.

Jane is the only person who call her as 'Madam'.

When Rosetta saw Jane's drawing about fashion designs, clothing and accessories along with Rosetta's portrait, she directly knew that Jane has a talent for art.

Thus Rosetta sent her to Paris and submitted for the semesters, Rosetta has thought that Jane will be happy when she give her the passport and the school admission mail, but it ended up Jane had been crying all night because she's afraid to leave from Rosetta's side and Rosetta will find another girl in her stead who is more obedient than her.

Thus Rosetta has to give a promise to Jane that she'll will be waiting for her as well as she will come and pick her up at the airport once she's arrived back.

Rosetta held the bouquet out to Jane. "Welcome back, Jane. These are for you," Rosetta said with a playful grin.

Jane accepted the flowers with a blush, a small smile forming on her lips. "Thank you, Madam. You remembered."

Rosetta nodded, Jane linking her arm through Rosetta. "Shall we go now, Madam? I've a lot of things to tell you."

As they walked towards the car, Jane saw none other than Min was waiting alongside beside her sister's Roll Royce, her initial excitement gave way to a pang of unease.

"Welcome back, Jane. Did you have a good time in Paris?" Min greeted with sparkling eyes which he never showed once to Rosetta.

Rosetta's clenched fists are hidden beneath the hands that was holding the bouquet. Why do the shades of kindness and love in his eyes flow fearlessly?

With a small, beautifully slender fingers, thin feature and very shy girl with a gummy smile. So gentle...so soft...so polite...

"Yes, Min." Jane replied with a smile that full of excitement.

"Let's go now." Rosetta said as she left the two behind her as she went straight to her car and position herself beside driver seat.

Jane will never understand...No...she doesn't want to understand the reason why Rosetta always sit beside Min...why Rosetta always favors Min more than everyone.

"Madam, it's not appropriate for someone like you to sit beside the driver seat I..."

"This is my place. Don't ever try to take of what's mine! I know exactly where I belong so you better know yourself of where you belong,Jane!" Rosetta is like that. Sometimes she's over caring person for Jane but sometimes....when it comes to Min, she didn't forgive anything.
