Metal Sonic stood there and we both got into fighting position. Then, upon instinct, i dodged a laser beam a lunged at him. He dodged and i leapt to my feet.
A fake emerald appeared in my hand and i used it with Chaos Spear. Metal dodged it and he started running around me. Before i could get out, he made a twister and i got swept off my feet. I managed to grab hold off a near by tree and hold onto it until i regain my balance.
We were an even match and this battle went on for quite a while. Metal Sonic was sparking and i was getting tired myself.
With one last blast, that i dodged, Metal ran off. I sighed and sat on the ground, feeling the wind pass by.
Metal Sonic and i are an even match. I can't read through Metal because he's a robot. Metal can't adapt my abilities because there's nothing to adapt. I'm mostly skilled in combat and weapons, that's it. I can only use Chaos Control if i have an emerald. It can be either fake or real. I can use any.
I sighed again and looked up into the sky. "Shadow. I promise you, when you return, i will fight by your side again. And this time, it'll be until my last breath."
