Nuclear disarmament.

This has been one of the difficult questions discussed at the previous super-international conference. Japan has intentionally concealed information about nuclear matters.

The horrors of nuclear weapons have only been conveyed through past experimental footage and verbally; they have not actually demonstrated their power and, to begin with, are unable to do so. After all, although there are sixteen nuclear missiles on board the nuclear ballistic missile submarine that was caught in the transference with them, they have not been retrieved yet, and their operation has not been determined.

Because the truth has not been shared despite being true, they have continued to employ bluffs, especially as an extraterrestrial nation. Sharing details from principles to raw materials would allow Philia to replicate them with their technological capabilities.

Knowing only the principles doesn't make it easy to create, but with time, funding, and the support of a national project, it could be done. In that case, not only the Vastatoria Cannon but also nuclear weapons could potentially circulate in this world, which is why Japan has consistently refrained from sharing that information. Yet, President Whistler demanded the disclosure of nuclear information as a de facto condition for the withdrawal of his declaration of war.

In wording, it may be called nuclear disarmament, but it is, in fact, the disclosure of nuclear information. This is because Japan's abolition of nuclear weapons must be proven by a third party, which is the Lians. To prove it, they must obtain detailed nuclear information, which would ultimately result in the leakage of nuclear information, under the guise of nuclear disarmament. Japan knows firsthand the horrors of nuclear weapons, making it a diplomatic card that can function effectively. However, the Philian civilization is unaware of this. If they were to possess it, they would likely use it more easily than nuclear powers on Earth.

It's too late once it's been used. To preserve the order and peace of Philian civilization, the leakage of nuclear information must be prevented.

"...Indeed, President Whistler is right. If we believe his previous statements, detonating it in the skies over Eustre could destroy all electronic devices within the region. It would also affect Japan, but for those of us who live in floating cities, it's a significant threat," Chairman Morlot reassumed the electromagnetic pulse he had mentioned as a bluff. "If the Special Zone Proposal is realized, the residents relocating to Eustre will constantly face the threat of those nuclear weapons. One could argue that they would protect us, but without knowing the details, the residents would likely feel uneasy."

That would indeed be the likely outcome. It is unknown whether the electromagnetic pulse would affect the biological Leviron organs, but if it affects electronic devices, everyone with artificial Leviron devices will be incapacitated. If one is in a vehicle or a floating city and cannot escape, they will likely be caught in the collateral damage.

"I don't agree with Regen's declaration of war, but I cannot oppose the nuclear disarmament on the grounds of national security."

"But does that mean disclosing all information related to nuclear weapons?"

"We only know about nuclear weapons through experimental footage. It is essential to disclose detailed information for us to prove the abolition on our side."

"We have no intention of providing any information related to nuclear matters," PM Sasaki stated firmly.

His position had reversed just a few minutes ago.

"Prime Minister Sasaki, the recent disarmament is different in its implications. Even if we were to relinquish them, we have no intention of altering the Special Zone Proposal."
