There is no such thing as multiple coincidences; at least, that's what I believe.

When I discovered the connection between Levy De Asis and Gwen Magtibay that one afternoon, I immediately dismissed the thought of the world being too small. Of course, there was rage, that feeling will never disappear anyway. But I think there's more excitement to the ingredient.

After eight years, finally, there are dots that are connecting, cards that are unfolding, and clues that are resurfacing. Who wouldn't be thrilled if it weren't me?

"Hah?"

"I'm asking if you are free tomorrow."

Fool me once, fool me twice, never thrice. If they think that I will overlook every clue they are throwing just because I'm still playing nice then they are wrong. Seven or eight blood bags could finish the whole series, and I have all the time to collect it.

I rose a brow. "Think faster? It's not a complicated question, woman."

"Tsk, tatawag ng alastres for a simple question? Di kayang mamaya na lang Mr. Lee?"

"Fine, I'll make this quick," I sighed, I really need to spoon feed everything to this girl. Whether she's acting or plainly testing my patience, it's annoying. "I want you to pick me up tomorrow in UST and bring me to Lucky Chinatown. I believe you based your design for Bastian Park in there? If I'm not mistaken."

There was a quick moment of silence that I almost thought she ended the call already.

"Hindi mo alam papunta doon?"

My vision turned white.

Ah. I'm so pissed.

"I know how maps work, Ms. Magtibay. I have some questions and possible on the spot corrections that needs immediate answers, hence why I'm asking you if you are free, but since you refuse to give me a lucid answer for three straight minu— "
