21. A new life begins

With Alucard's encouragement, I recovered in 6 months. His determination to have me to himself again made him eager to me back to health, since there was hardly any privacy in the hospital.

As I got back to the Hellsing Organisation, I got greeted by Seras, Walter, Pip and the rest of the soldiers. They all seem to be pleased, that I will be the next leader of this place. We celebrated my arrival in a small group that very night.

A few days before I get my title, Alucard helped me to remember the oath I had to say out loud and also on how to behave before the Queen. Unfortunately it mainly turned into several make out sessions, so it took him longer to teach me. The long wait for privacy, was like torture to him, so he said. Sir Integra got me ready on the special day. She checked on everything until I was allowed to go.

The ceremony was held at the Buckingham palace. Dressed as a knight in a green uniform, a sword attached to my waist and my head, held up high beside Integra. Once I was called up towards the throne, where I had to take an oath, promising loyalty to England and the Queen. That's when I received the title "Sir Hellsing", taking Sir Integra's place once she either, retires or dies. Outside I received several compliments and congratulations from the round table conference, even from the ones who doubted me.

However I couldn't care less about them, the only approval I want is waiting nearby, wearing a white suit. "Congratulations young Hellsing" he greeted me, holding me up so I was above him. I leaned down to kiss him passionately, "I could have never gotten this far...without you...my beloved husband."

"I hope I don't have to see you do this too often" said Integra out loud, already at me and Alucard kissing around. "Jealous?" I teased. The glare we received from the iron maiden was priceless; all we could do was laugh at her reaction.

Once back home I got back into my normal clothes, going back to the normal routines as always. That is, until I was interrupted by my husband. "Today should be a day to celebrate, not to make it a normal day like always" "Oh yeah? What do you have in mind?" He smirked, getting the message. He pulled me up holding me up "Let me pamper you tonight." "You are aware that I have responsibilities now. I can't turn into a vampire anymore. Are you okay with that?" I said, noticing his lusty eyes, wanting to go to the next level of our relationship. "I am aware and I accept my wife's decision. Because of that, I see no reason to hold back anymore," the way he looked at me, I just knew...neither could I.

In this night, I had witnessed on how much of a lover Alucard truly is. All I can say is that it won't be the last time.
