Shrutkarma stood in front of the mirror, his reflection mirroring the pain and anguish he felt inside. For as long as he could remember, his family had treated him with disdain, constantly belittling him and making him feel unworthy. He had grown up in a household where love was a foreign concept, and he was the neglected son.

His parents, Arjun and Draupadi, had always favored his siblings, showering them with affection and attention. Shrutkarma was left to fend for himself, his existence seemingly inconsequential to his family. The wounds inflicted by their indifference ran deep, leaving him scarred emotionally.

One fateful day, everything changed. Shrutkarma's family suddenly started showing him love and affection, as if a switch had been flipped. Confused and skeptical, he wondered if he had finally become worthy of their attention or if they had simply remembered his existence.

As he pondered over this newfound affection, Shrutkarma's anger and resentment grew. He couldn't understand why they had chosen to ignore him for so long, only to embrace him now. The wounds of the past were still fresh, and he couldn't easily forget the pain he had endured

In a fit of frustration, Shrutkarma slammed his hands against the wall, causing them to bleed. As he watched the blood trickle down his palms, he couldn't help but see it as a metaphor for his identity. His blood was a mixture of Arjun and Draupadi, yet he had never been acknowledged as their son.

The sight of his own blood reminded him of the deep-rooted connection he had with his family, despite their neglect. It was a painful realization that he had always longed for their love, but it had remained elusive.

With each passing day, Shrutkarma's resolve grew stronger. He realized that he didn't need his family's validation to define his worth. He had become a strong and independent individual, relying on his own abilities and the support of his wife Adhya.

As he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, Shrutkarma found solace in his own accomplishments. He built a successful career, earned respect from his peers, and became a beacon of hope for others who had experienced similar neglect.

Despite his newfound success, Shrutkarma couldn't shake off the bitterness that had consumed him for years. He grappled with the decision of whether to accept his family's sudden affection or to continue living without them.

Shrutkarma filled with Anger started walking towards the garden as he saw moonlight which calmed him
soon someones hand on his back which startled him , they were his Parents Arjun and Draupadi.

"Putra I know , I have hurted you but trust me I never hated you, You are my first born , I always wanted you to be better that's why I chose strictness, i thought it would lead to discipline, I know I forgot my duty as a father and hurted you alot but I didn't do it intentionally Putra".

shrutkarma laughed
'' Pitashree you don't hate me right? but whatever you have done to me clearly indicates that you hate me
it's not about strictness, It's negligence

You know how much I craved for your love , your hug, your appriciation??
you always showered love on my siblings , on their birthdays you all used to give them present but during my birthday I hardly used to get them , why? Didn't I deserved them?

I know it's foolish to ask such things but it hurted ne when I was a kid.
you always neglected my winnings and for others you celebrated with them.

You All used to bear their tantrums , drama and all but when I tried to do this just in sake of fun , you all made me bad , you called me rude , stubborn and unworthy prince , Why?
why you said such things to me ?

Even if I cared for my siblings , I was called selfish , why?
I received hate form everyone, literally everyone ?

why senapati Arjun , why?
Now pls atleast leave me now! I have a wife who loves me , adores me , listenes me , now pls don't come in my life , you have thrown me out right? I wish to say out Senapati
or else it would hurt me more .''

Saying this he walked away crying as his parents were dumbfounded and hurt at same time .

Arjun and Draupadi stood there, stunned and filled with regret. They never realized the extent of the pain they had caused their son. The realization hit them hard, and they felt a deep sense of guilt for neglecting Shruthkarma all these years.

Draupadi's eyes welled up with tears as she reached out to hold Arjun's hand. "Arjun, we have failed as parents," she whispered, her voice filled with remorse. "We were so focused on discipline and molding Shruthkarma into a strong prince that we forgot to show him love and affection. We never meant to hurt him, but our actions have caused him so much pain."

Arjun nodded, his own eyes filled with tears.
But we will make him feel better Panchali, I promise!!

Arjun said wiping away his tears.
