The substances of those papers are by far the most boring content I had ever read in my entire life

It is just pages and pages of research on animals; - mostly bird's

I get bored from the first page, but I keep reading anyway only to call it quits on the second page

I would assume that if you were compelled to hide something under the floor you would hide something of essence, something worth concealing under a floorboard under your bed

But this? - What was so fascinating about different animals and their circumstantial characteristics?

I will say, they were very informative, the kind of material you read if you are having trouble sleeping, - either way the contents of those papers seemed to puzzle me more

Was that what was all in the box? A whole lot of research papers detailing different types of animals.

Because if so, there was a lot more papers in that box, I had just managed to get one out

Despite reading those boring papers, I still wanted to know what else was In the box, maybe there was something else in there, - it was a shot in the dark, but it had given me hope

The formats of the papers look like they are school essays, but school essays that have never been submitted

school essays are not very long they are normally around 250 to 400 words, usually never more than that. The first essay in the stack of papers is at least 7000 words long

I still needed to be smart, William was very meticulous, and any time he could figure out what I was up to

so I developed a plan to keep William off my trail ; by spending as much time with him as possible

because the more time I spend time in Williams's room and with him the more I kept him distracted from going into my room and potentially discovering the papers hidden behind the books or that there were a few papers missing from his hole under the bed

I have to assume the papers are his and not something, the previous owners of the house had left as a housewarming gift – if there even were owners before William, who would want to live in the middle of nowhere

As I have mentioned; William is very conscientious and I doubt that he would not know about something as important as a hole in his floor

I even suspected that the papers were written by him; judging by how detailed and descriptive they were. Normally for school essays and creative writing you get graded on how creative you are, your ability to tell a story, - not forgetting about grammar, and punctuation and the formation of sentences of course; but your ability to tell a good story

Those papers were not at all good stories

It was just like recorded information, - but a huge amount of recorded information

I knew the smart way to get into that box again was to be patient, to wait for the perfect opportunity before revisiting the box

So I did, I waited

And low and behold the opportunity did arrive

It was two weeks later, the longest two weeks of my life mind you, when William had left to do one of his mandatory restocks of the household groceries

This time I prayed he stayed away for 12 hours again to give me more time

Once he left, and I waited for a solid ten minutes before going into his room and setting out on what I wanted to do
