"You're not from here, aren't you?"

The latter shrugged, a smug grin curling on his lips. "That's already a given, isn't it?"

Naomi stood before Y/n's sitting figure, towering over him during that moment, her glare hardening and her lips stiffening. The Fate devil, in the form of a snake, slithered around her breasts.

As of late, she's not gaining any useful information that has anything to do with his origins, nor was she receiving anything fresh from his current position.

"Well?" She prompted, placing a hand on her hips.

He raised a brow, placing his hand on the floor behind him and relaxing on that arm. A smirk curled on his lips. "Hmmmm. We can sex?" he suggested.

"No."

"Aww."

She gazed passed Y/n and noticed a little girl sleeping with her dogs, and the ginger hugging the smaller child. Naomi assumed that they were related in some way. Due to that, she decided to ask. "They yours?"

Y/n turned back, looking at Denji and Nayuta. "What do you mean?"

She scoffed. "Dumbass," she said. "Are they your kids?"

The latter squinted, looking at the slumbering duo. "They'd be a bit more handsome/pretty if they're mine. But nah. I'm their bodyguard." He ended, looking back at Naomi. "Jealous~? Want some kids~?"

"No."

"Awww."

"What are you doing with innocent children?"

"Oh? Them? Innocent?"

She raised a brow. "Am I wrong?"

"Semi."

"Semi...?"

"You wouldn't know, but that's fineee~"

She despised that about him. Being all secretive then suddenly becoming giddy. She clenched her fists until her knuckles turned white. "Why is someone like you, here? Why?"

"Ah you know~ It's the job and all. The payment--"

"You're not getting paid." She interrupted, her brows furrowing into a glare. "You're faking it. All of it."

He waved his hands in mockery. "Surprise surprise~"

"How many did you murder?"

"I think it was in 4 digits."

"ₜₕₐₜ ᵢₛ, ₐₗₛₒ ₐ ₗᵢₑ." The slithering snake hissed--The fate Devil.

"OooOh.." Y/n said, smirking. "The snake can speak."

Naomi rolled her eyes. "The point is--"

"Are you like, certain you wanna trust that serpent on your shoulder?"

The latter was confused. "What?"

"It's just like how the serpent tempted Eve, y'know?"

Naomi frowned. "What...? What are you referring too...?"

"You should read the book of Genesis. You might learn somethin' new there."

Now Naomi was befuddled.  She genuinely had no idea where his conversation was going.
