Her heart pounded as she sprinted after Loki through the hallway of the TVA with Mobius and a few hunter's were right on their trail. Rebecca felt her anxiety building every step she took not understanding how Mobius didn't know who she was.
Rebecca looked back as they ran, noticing the distance was closing in on them. Loki quickly grabbed onto Rebecca causing the two of them to come to a stop as B-15 ran up on them closing them in as Mobius and his men came up behind the two. "Hold it right there, Variants!"
"What is going on? Mobius it's us!" Loki told Mobius.
"I don't know either of you," Mobius assured the two, breaking Rebecca's heart after all the time she had spent with her mentor.
Rebecca's eyes widened as the hunter's turned their pruning stick's on, "No, no– not again," Rebecca whispered, afraid of the machine.
"Do you trust me?" Loki whispered.
"Yes, what are you–" Rebecca started to say but Loki picked up her hand and ran with her in his hands off of the balcony .
Rebecca let out a yell as they fell through the sky landing in the trunk of an aircraft flying in the air, "Are you crazy?!" Rebecca yelled out.
"In a way–" Loki replied as the two looked up.
Rebecca looked over to see the driver was staring at them and was about to hit the statue of He Who Remains. "Duck!" Loki yelled covering her body with his as the car flew into a window of a building causing the glass to crash down.
Loki let out a grunt as he fell out of the trunk onto the surface of the room and helped Rebecca down once he had gotten to his feet. Loki looked at the people who were looking at the two and gave a small wave at them. "Are you good?" Loki asked Rebecca.
"I'm fine," she replied, glancing at the people and noticed Casey was amongst the people in the room.
"Morning," Loki said in awkward silence as the TVA employees stared at the two.
Rebecca's head snapped over and saw the truck began to fell which caused Loki to run to the edge of the room. "She'll be fine," Loki said, assuring the group.
Rebecca let out a small yelp as the monitor fell down to the ground with small spark's coming out of it and it left a crack in the tiles. Rebecca held onto Loki's arm as the two jumped back. Rebecca and Loki let out a groan and leaned on the fallen monitor in too much pain to stand up.
Rebecca felt her ears ringing as she began to breathe heavier. "Casey?" Loki asked, looking up at the man.
Rebecca looked up and saw the man she used to be friends with, "Have we met each other?" Casey asked.
"Casey, help us. Please, tell me you know what's going on," Loki asked, taking a step forward to the man.
"Casey, Don't you remember me?" Rebecca asked, taking a step forward as well.
