Rebecca wondered if McDonald's was around back in the 40s before she left to go find her brother. It looked like a good restaurant from the looks of it, the question was if Sylvie was actually inside of it. "Brad, I'm telling you right now. If you're wasting our time, you're going right back in the gizmo," Mobius stated as they stood in the parking lot of the restaurant.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Brad exclaimed, holding up his hands.
"Would you like getting scrunched up in the cube?" Mobius asked.
"Hey, hey, hey! Okay. All right. Look, she's in there, all right. She's in there." Brad began to say and placed his arms around the boys as Rebecca stood on the other side of Loki. Brad began to push them forwards to walk inside the restaurant and said, "So, why don't you guys just head on in and remember that I'm the one who brought you here, and a deal's a deal. All right? So, you go ahead, I'm gonna head on back. Alright?" Brad asked quickly, turning to leave the three behind.eah, you're like... you wanna take off,"
"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Why are you so jumpy? It's making me nervous," Mobius asked quickly, pulling Brad backwards to him.
"I'm not jumpy. I'm not nervous," Brad said looking at Mobius.
"Yeah, you're like... you wanna take off," Mobius exclaimed.
Rebecca sighed as the two argued back and forth, "Look, I don't want to be around a Variant who killed four hundred of our co-workers!" Brad exclaimed motioning to where Sylvie was.
Rebecca joined Loki, annoyed that Mobius and Brad were arguing back and forth and looked at the restaurant. "What do you think?" Mobius asked the two as he walked up behind them.
"If she's here, we have to find out what she knows," Rebecca said.
Rebecca and Loki looked at one another knowing that they had to be prepared for anything, "We'll do the talking. Be ready," Loki said as the two walked inside the restaurant.
The duo took a moment to look around to see if Sylvie was truly there or not. Rebecca looked towards the front register and saw her. She was in a McDonald's staff uniform and seemed genuinely happy where she was. "Loki," Rebecca whispered, gaining his attention and nodding over to Sylvie at the counter.
Rebecca wondered the reason for her coming and working at the restaurant and why she didn't come to find them before. The goddess looked up from the counter and saw the group walking in and her face fell. Rebecca could feel the tenseness between them and Sylvie in the room already.
"This feels tense," Brad muttered as the duo slowly made their way towards Sylvie, "What do you say, we leave them to it and just head back to the TVA?"
"WHat are you talking about? NO. I'm not going anywhere until I get some apple pie," Mobius exclaimed, leaving a frustrated Brad behind to catch up with the two.
