Chapter 14: The right to fight

(Chloe's POV)

"No!" Chloe screamed, her eyes widened. 

The pitbull tried to claw at her neck. 

Chloe dodged.

She clawed at his neck, and got a hit. 

The pitbull instantly fell to the ground. 

"P-p-p-please! I don't want to fight. I don't want to die! Please help!" The pitbull pleaded. 

Chloe's expression became soft.

She quickly ran off to get a leaf. She would be able to stop the pitbull's bleeding with it. 

She found them, and went back.

After a while, the dog stopped bleeding. 

He somehow managed to stay conscious. 

"You saved me." The dog managed to say.

"You are a kind soul. Let me guess, recruited by that stupid Ragnarok?" Chloe asked, as she narrowed her eyes.

The pitbull nodded.

Chloe started licking the dog's wound.

The dog didn't know how to react.

"Someone has to stop him!" Chloe said. 

The pitbull nodded.

"You're right. But, a prophecy has been made by an old dog. We don't know if it's true, but Ragnarok feels mighty because of it." The pitbull said.

Chloe's eyes widened. 

(Storm's POV)

"She's great with kids." Storm said. Aurora was laying right next to him. He was looking at Zari, who was playing with his kids. 

"Yeah, she is." Aurora replied.

Storm looked at her with a flirty face.

Aurora chuckled, and kissed him on the mouth.

"I love you!" Storm said.

"I love you too!" Aurora replied. 

(Grant's POV)

Grant had found Jade and Ryoma. He joined their group.

(Rover's POV)

"We must be the biggest group now. Seven dogs are part of it!" Rover said.

Storm nodded. 

(Chloe's POV)

"In Ragnarok's final hour, flames will devour those who dare to end Ragnarok's reign." The pitbull said. 

Chloe's eyes widened. 

"What's your name?" Chloe suddenly asked.

"Hunter." The pitbull replied.
