after saving yang and beating that nightmare grimm the nightmare hunter had left and so did the wall tomorrow for the first round off the vytal festival which means tonight was the dance i ofcourse explained to yang in private about the whole nightmare grimm and what she missed as yang would say "man i got dress for the dance talking about that we should get you one and some heels" i would respond with "nope you know i can't dance or walk in heels let alone dance in heels" yang would say "well too bad as team leader you have to come you got no choice"
as yang grabs my arm and drags me into the city and we go shopping for a dress and heels we would then go back to our dorm nobody had classes today we were just waiting for the dance jaune tried asking weiss but she denied him quite allot off people stopped at our dorm to ask weiss or yang sun had stopped at our dorm to ask blake who agreed yang would ask "so ruby did anybody ask you to the dance yet?" i would shake my head as blake would say "me and weiss expected somebody like jaune or jack to ask her but geuss they are just friends like ruby said"
i would say "see i told you all so im not that intresting anyway" yang would say "ofcourse you are your the cutest girl here in school" weiss would add "and you always are so cheery some people might not like it but i know enough boys that are into girls that are very happy and fun to be around with" blake would say "you are a very intresting girl ruby but nobody knows that until they get to know you" i would just be speechless not expecting them to think of me this way well weiss and blake atleast as i would say "t-thanks...i-i think ima just go do something before the dance"
i would be walking down the hallway and see kyle walking around as i would say "hey kyle you also getting ready for the dance?" he would respond with "im not intrested so i will just skip it what about you ruby?" i would respond with "as team leader im supposed to go i don't plan on doing much just gonna stand in the corner and watch" kyle would respond with "allright then see you later" as he would walk off i simple continued to stroll around until eventualy it was time for the dance i went back to my dorm and got dressed and then slowly walked to the dance hall
and there were allot off people going to dance i would just be standing by the side with yang she had nobody to dance with despite being asked by allot off people it was quite a peacefull dance but i could hear sun at one point and say "allright this is going to slow lets DANCE DANCE DANCE!" as things would speed up weiss would come over and was mumbeling "stupid neptune stupid ugh dam playboys!" i would look over and see neptune talking to other girls but that was not the weirdest i would see jaune wearing a dress as he and his team starts dancing together as a group
yang would say "hey sis wanna dance?" i would shake my head and hands "no please i rather not embarass you infront off so many people with my horrible dancing" yang would say "geuss i will dance with ice queen i was hoping kyle would be here but geuss he doesn't wanna dance with me" as yang would grab weiss her hand and leaves now i was just all alone eating and drinking what you normally eat and drink at a dance party i would eventualy hear a voice saying "enjoying yourself miss rose" i turn and see professor ozpin standing there as i would say
"not really i don't like to dance or wear heels and dresses" the professor would nod and say "understandable if you are not used to it but sometimes you gotta be able to fight in what you are concurently wearing even if you are not comfortable with them" i would listen to ozpin his words and he was right as i would respond "okay you got a point there but i don't like to dance and i can't dance..." professor ozpin would say "oh dancing is just like fighting only drifence is you are not trying to hurt the guy or girl you are dancing with that is all i have to say miss rose bye"
i would wave professor ozpin bye as he walked off i would simple continue to watch but i notice jack was not walking around i would ask jaune and sun if they had seen him neither had seen him as the dance would end but i spot jack walking with some other guy as i would ask "everything allright jack?" as he was about to speak this guy would cut him off " "he just saw somebody infiltrate one off the towers and went after them but my team is already on the case to solve this problem" before the guy would walk off and once he is away jack would say
"that was general ironwood he runs the army in atlas anyway did you need anything ruby?" i would respond with "oh no i was just wondering where you went" as jack would respond with "oh then allright ima get to cleaning then" as he would walk past me i would inhale and say "h-hey jack" he would turn around and now i got a good look at his outfit as it swayed by him turning and his arms crossed "yes ruby?"

i would say "well i did not see you have fun or dance and you deserve some fun and since it's just us 2 do you u-um wanna dance with me?" he would chuckle and respond with "allright fine this is the first time somebody asked me to dance velvet offered to dance with me earlier but i said i was too busy regardless i liked suns dance dance dance part just pick a song ruby and we can dance" i nod as i would go and pick a number because jack just talked about it i simple picked dance dance dance and once it starts playing jack chuckles and i grab his hand
and we would start dancing ofcourse i try my best to not step on his foot but i still end up stepping on his foot as jack would say "let me geuss you never danced before or have trouble dancing" i would nod embarrasely as jack would say "well i have a copy off just dance in my room once this song ends how about we just go there and play a bit?" i would say "y-ya sure tomorrow is the festival i don't think i should stay up too long" jack would respond with "i know when your fight happens you can rest for a while and you can always ask yang to wake you up and record the fights for you to make strategies"
i would listen and say "allright but just a few songs got it?" jack would respond with "sure you can take off your heels at your dorm if you want i just gotta boot up the game anyway" i would nod and so we continue to dance a but more until dance dance dance ends i then go to my dorm and take off the heels and puts on some shoes as yang would ask "where are you going sis?" i would respond with "oh to jacks room" as yang whistles and says "i did not know you were gonna do him like that" weiss would shout "oh come on yang ruby is not like that!"
before i could comment blake just pushes me out off the room i had no idea what yang was on about and so i head to jacks room which when entering was nice and organised pretty clean too and it was very large geuss this is what you get if your father is the headmaster but we simple decided to play just dance accidentally going trough all the songs before i head back to my dorm in the morning and collapse cause lack off sleep
