They both left the room.

Arjun was again busy with his work and Anamika was roaming in the hall when her eyes fell on a room.

It was at the end of the hall in a secluded area.
The dust was enough to remind her that the room was not used in many years.

She pushed the doors .
The door opened with a creaking sound.

Anamika saw a painting of a woman.
She was one of the most beautiful person she had ever seen.

Anamika noticed that the women in the painting seemed familiar.
But she can't remember who she resembled.

She saw a pair of ghungroo (bells) kept on the table and picked it up.

The sound of the anklet echoed in the empty room.

She was about to leave the room when suddenly she stepped on her skirt and was about to fall.

For support she placed her hand on the frame.

The frame shifted from its place.

Anamika noticed it was a secret place.

A wooden box was inside.

She took out the wood box and dusted it.

When she was about to open it she saw that it was locked.

She sighed in disappointment.

She stood up and tried to find the key of the box.

The room was covered in dust she coughed.

She was tired after searching for the key.

She already lost hope of finding the key, she turned when she saw a reflection on the mirror of some kind of key.

She was puzzled because when she turned around she noticed there was nothing.

She came close to the mirror and knocked it.

The mirror rotated and she finally got the key.

She took it and with much difficulty she finally opened the wooden box.

There were few ornaments.

A sapphire blue stone caught her attention.

It was a rare piece of gem.

Underneath the gem she saw a notebook which seemed to be someone's diary.

She was hesitant at first.
"Whose diary it might be" she thought.

But finally she opened the first page.

It read

Verakshi

The hidden truth.....

Anamika touched the name.
She was trying hard to remember who the woman was.

And why nobody in this palace ever took her name?

She placed all the items back in the wooden box and was about to keep the diary back.

But something in her told her not to leave the diary.

She felt like it was an indication for her.

So she took the diary and kept all the belongings back to its place.

She might think that she found the book and chose it but little did she know it was the book who chose her.

She was destined to find it.
