"Ryis, please join me," Rhaenys beckoned from inside the carriage, her voice filled with warmth and anticipation. Corlys sat beside her, a gentle smile gracing his face as he welcomed ryis inside.

Corlys responded with reassurance, his voice carrying a soothing tone, "Don't worry, everything will be fine." His smile grew wider, radiating a sense of comfort and ease.

Curiosity tinged Ryis' voice as he cautiously stepped into the carriage and settled into a seat. "Is this a land boat?" he inquired, his words laced with a mix of intrigue and uncertainty.

Rhaenys let out a chuckle, "Oh, I suppose it's a land boat" she remarked with a grin.

Ryis, on the other hand, couldn't hide her disdain for the carriage. The jerky movements and the reliance on horses for control made her cringe - she had never been fond of horses they where the dolphins of the land.

As they made their way through the gates, a sense of tranquility enveloped them. The quiet surroundings were a stark contrast to the bustling city they had just left behind. Rhaenys peered out the window, taking in the sights with a sense of wonder, while Ryis sat stiffly, still not quite comfortable with the mode of transportation.

When the doors finally swung open, revealing their destination, Ryis was filled with anticipation. The grandeur of the estate before her was breathtaking, and they couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for the adventures that awaited them within its walls. As they stepped out of the carriage, Rhaenys turned to Ryis with a smile, "Shall we, my dear?" rheanys spoke to corlys with a warm smile and he stepped out of the carriage

"Lord Corlys of House Velaryon, known as the Lord of the Tides and Master of Driftmark" corlys was announced as he stepped out of the carriage.

The person outside announced the arrival of his lady wife, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. However, Ryis, remained inside the carriage, visibly frightened by something.

Rhaenys peered into the carriage and saw Ryis looking terrified. Concerned, she tapped Corlys on the shoulder and gestured for him to look at ryis. Corlys, understanding the situation, sighed and walked back into the carriage to comfort Ryis.

Kneeling to Ryis's height, Corlys asked gently, "What's wrong, little one?" His voice was soothing, trying to reassure herr. Ryis looked up at him , her eyes filled with fear, as she tried to explain what had scared her. Corlys listened attentively, ready to address whatever was troubling her

"I see them," she replied calmly.

"It's alright, I'm here," he said, his smile widening. As they exited the carriage, the gasps from the onlookers reached Ryis's ears.

She glanced at Corlys and let out a soft sigh. Corlys pulled her towards an elderly man, adorned with a golden crown. Despite his frail appearance, he wore a cheerful expression.

"Your grace," he greeted with a slight bow. "This is the girl I informed you about, the siren," he continued. "Ah, I see," the man responded. He slowly extended his hand towards Ryis, attempting to touch her, but she instinctively recoiled and let out a hiss.

"Well I guess we don't need any proof of that," he spoke with a laugh.

"ryis... this is the-" Corlys spoke before he was cut off.

"the king... and his family, queen alicent, prince Aegon, princess Helena, prince aemond..... princess rheanerya, and her children prince jacerys and prince lucerys' ' ryis interrupted.

"remarkable" spoke the king amused by her knowledge. Ryis looked at the people her eyes staring into their souls.

But one caught her eye, the prince jacerys, he had deep brown hair and wore a deep red cloak.

"we best get her inside, get her settled we have lost to discuss" the king continued before walking inside.

With a graceful gesture, Ryis was led to her chambers, a sanctuary befitting her status. The guards, standing tall and vigilant, took their positions outside her doors, their presence a constant reminder of the importance of her presence.

As the doors swung shut, a feeling of isolation washed over Ryis. The lock slid into place, separating her from the outside world and cocooning her in a realm of luxury and seclusion.

As her gaze swept across the room, she couldn't help but notice the stark contrast it held to the one back in the driftmark. The vibrant shades of red that adorned the walls seemed to pulsate with intensity, almost as if they were alive. However, instead of feeling welcoming, the boldness of the colour caused a sharp pain to shoot through her eyes, making it difficult to fully appreciate the unique ambiance.

in the centre of the room, a fire blazed brightly, casting dancing shadows on the walls. This was a completely new experience for her, as she had never encountered fire before, especially since this was her first time on solid ground. The flickering flames mesmerised her, drawing her closer despite the heat emanating from it.

Her hand extended tentatively towards the flame, but as soon as her fingertips grazed the fire, a searing pain shot through her. The piercing scream that escaped her lips echoed through the room, a sound of pure agony.

The guards burst into the room at the sound of her cries, only to find her collapsed on the floor, tears streaming down her face. Her hand was a gruesome sight, burnt and bleeding. They rushed to her side, their concern evident in their eyes as they tried to assess the extent of her injury.

In a sudden burst of strength, she grabbed one of the guard's hands, causing a sickening crunch as she snapped it back. Despite her young age, her powers were already formidable, a force to be reckoned with. The sirens within her were stronger than any ordinary human, a fact that sent a shiver down the spines of those who witnessed her raw power.

A piercing scream echoed through the room, causing the guard to jump in fright. In an instant, Ryis, with a hiss of urgency, swiftly darted to the opposite side of the chamber. The tension in the air was palpable as the guard tried to regain his composure, his heart pounding in his chest.

After what felt like an eternity, three figures burst into the room, their hurried footsteps echoing against the walls. The king, accompanied by the princess Rheanerya and a formidable-looking member of his royal guard, entered with a sense of urgency. Their expressions were a mix of concern and confusion as they took in the chaotic scene before them.

"By the gods, what on earth has happened here?" the princess exclaimed, her eyes widening in shock as she surveyed the injured guard with a broken hand and the young siren girl with a burn mark. The guard, his voice filled with anger and pain, pointed an accusing finger at the siren girl, labelling her as the assailant. All eyes turned towards her, the room filled with a mix of curiosity, disbelief, and a hint of fear towards the mysterious "monster."

Rhenerya's gaze fell upon the young girl, and she approached her with measured steps.

Concern etched across her face, she gently inquired, "Are you alright?" Ryis struggled to find the right words to express herself.

"The light, bite me," she managed to explain. Sensing the fear in Ryis's voice, Rhenerya knelt down to her level, trying to offer comfort in this unfamiliar place. Surrounded by strangers and far from her own family, Ryis longed for their presence.

"Did the fire burn you?" Rhenerya asked, her voice filled with genuine concern. Ryis nodded, her voice trembling as she whispered, "Yes... f-ire burn me." Determined to help, Rhenerya mustered a warm smile and gently requested,

"Oh no, can I see?" With a mix of hesitation and trust, Ryis extended her hand, allowing Rhenerya to inspect the burn.  Realizing that Ryis needed immediate medical attention, Rhenerya spoke softly, her voice filled with reassurance.

"Alright sweetling, we need to take you to a maester. They will be able to help you." Extending a helping hand, she assisted Ryis in standing up, ready to guide her towards the aid she desperately needed.
