Working with Willy Wonka had changed my life. I used to hate work, hated to plan budgets and sit in long meetings, drained of any colour or flavour. Until I saw the "Help wanted!", sign on the windows of the newly opened Wonka chocolate shop. The sign had been made out of a gingerbread and the text was written in a green liquid candy.

It was the most bizarre store I'd ever seen. A big pink tree in the middle, made out of something edible. All colours from the rainbow could be found within these walls and... Flying chocolate? And I knew that I had to try to apply for the job.

Next thing I knew I was working here. Working for Mr. Wonka.

Smiling, I waved at another happy costumer as they left the shop with a chocolate basket, filled with sweets.

"Can I ask of you a favour?" A sudden voice made me jump, as I quickly looked over my shoulder at Mr. Wonka. He had this certain smile of mischief to him, while radiating a kind of optimism that only Mr. Wonka could have.

I quickly gathered myself. "Yes, of course. What do you need?"

Excited, Mr. Wonka showed me a new piece of chocolate. This had a unregular form, and changed colours depending on the lights around it. "I trust that you can tell me if this is a good combination." He explained, as he placed the chocolate in my hand.

"It won't make me grow a beard, right?" I asked suspiciously. He laughed.

"No, it won't. I love that one, but I want to know your opinion before I share it with the people. Your opinion is worth a lot of to me." He said so sincerely, like he didn't even really think of it. Wonka is so innocent, he probably didn't even notice the effect those words had had on me. I felt my cheeks grow warmer and I'm sure to be blushing like a fool.

I tried a piece of the new chocolate, underneath his observing eyes. At first, it tasted just like any other chocolate. It was good of course, but a bit disappointing considering Wonkas previous works. But then, another taste rolled in. The explosive taste of oranges, tightly followed with the warmth of cinnamon. I couldn't help but laugh as I covered my mouth with one hand.

"Did you like it?" Wonka asked excitedly, almost hovering on the spot. I nodded.

"It's amazing. Oranges and cinnamon? You really have a talent." The flavour of the chocolate still laid strong on my tongue, even though the chocolate was long gone.

"I couldn't have  reached my dream without you people." He said, before continuing with "And thanks to you. You're actually the inspiration to that piece of chocolate you just ate."

The revelation of that stunned me.

"Am I?"

"Yes." He breathed out, before taking off his hat and placing it on the shell beside him. His brown cruly hair was messy underneath, but I don't think I've ever seen it as other than messy.

"Why? What could I possible be inspiring to?" I asked, genuinly wondering. Wonka looked up at me with those eyes. The eyes that always made my heart skip a beat.

I shouldn't. It's the oldest rule in the book to never develop feelings for your boss. But I couldn't help but fall for Wonka, in the same way he once fell down a slippery staircase that he had made out of chocolate.

"Y/n." I snapped back to reality, and realised that he was suddenly closer to me than before. It suddenly felt hard to breathe. I could feel my pulse rising. "Can I... Would you allow me to try something?" He asked. I immediately nodded.

"Yes." I answered, not even sure of what it exactly was he meant yet. Wonka paused, as he lifted a hand to my face, removing a piece of hair that had fallen over my face. His gentle fingertips felt like fire against my skin.

"I hope you taste like oranges and cinnamon." He whispered before gently guiding my chin so he could kiss me. I must taste like oranges and cinnamon because he is certainly acting as though he's enjoying the taste. I must enjoy tasting him too, because I subconsciously grabbed a fist of his coat to pull him even closer, to pull him right to me.

Kissing Willy Wonka felt unreal. But his tongue that sled into my mouth couldn't be anything other than real. This was sweeter than any kind of treat could ever be.
