Because Of You

Chp- 24

After the heart felt confession Jungkook thought things would change but nothing really have changed. Taehyung is still same, his schedule, his way of showing love, his care, everything. Jungkook is glad; he never wanted anything to change between them. He fell for his not-so-easy-to-understand-but-the-kindest-husband-of-the-world and he would like to keep it like that. He loves how his alpha is so attentive towards him and only him, others might cut their nerve in front of him for his  attention but he won't even notice.

After 3.5 months of their marriage the only thing which has changed in Kim household is Taehyung's ignorance towards his mother. The game his mother tried to play with his husband and almost broke his marriage will never let him forgive his mother, at least not now, maybe never.  

A week is left for launch and everyone in company is fully occupied with work. They are going to host an event in the company itself and in front of media and  guests from the gaming industry they will launch their game. 

Jungkook knows that this is the time his husband needs his full support and he is trying to be as cooperative with his schedules as much he can. Their were days when Taehyung didn't even  came back home and stayed in the company with his hyungs but Jungkook didn't complained. He decided to turn a blind eye towards such an unhealthy schedule of his husband till the day of launch.

It's around 4 p.m. when Jungkook finished all the chores and now has a mission to accomplish.

" Jimin-ah?"

" What happened now baby bunny? " Jimin asked in a teasing tone.

Jungkook asked sulking lightly "You talk like I only call you when something happens. " 

" Is it not the case this time?" Challenged Jimin.

Jungkook contemplated before whining
" Hyunggg"

" There you go" Jimin said while pretending to yawn

" You're such a bully " Jungkook faked sobbing a little.

" Oh bunny just because your hot handsome alpha takes care of you like a new born doesn't mean the world has changed. The world is still cruel for all of us okay? Stop complaining. "

" I-its n-nothing like that-t" Jungkook tried to control the heat travelling towards his cheek.

" Yeah yeah whatever! Honestly on your wedding day I never thought such a caring person is hidden behind that I-don't-give-a-fuck face. Taehyung surprised me for sure."

" Can you stop please. I didn't called you to gossip."

" SEE TOLD YA! It's always me who calls you to gossip, you just call me when you need tips."

Jungkook's  eyelids widen since Jimin knows him too well " No! I didn't called you for that! "

" Oh yeah?" Jimin asked or more like interrogated

Jungkook panicked and said the first thing came in his mind " Of course bestie! I called you for uh uh yeah to check upon you. "

There was a 30 sec complete silence on the line.

Jimin spoke " Okay "

Jungkook awkwardly cleared his throat " So...how are you? "

" Good."

" How's work? "

" Good "

" Did you plan to get married yet? "

" Yes. Just waiting for something "

" What? "

" Your divorce "
