Script 6: Ruining moods and dates

"Wasn't that Huh Yunjin or am I just tripping?"

Chaewon scoffs as Choi Yena, an ex-member of the theater club and also Chaewon's long time friend, spoke. Yena knew about Yunjin because she was there when the girl transferred to their academy and joined the club.

And she was also there when Yunjin left.

Unfortunately, Choi Yena wasn't there when Huh Yunjin came back. She transferred to a different academy when the year ended. Much to Chaewon's dismay.

Yena was once a part of their little friend group with Wonyoung, Sakura and the two boys as well. Along with Jo Yuri who left the academy with her.

They met up today because Yena was around and wanted to spend time with Chaewon.

But now Chaewon is slightly irritated with her friend's presence.

Just slightly.

"Look at that face-" Yena points out, "I'm right! That was indeed the Huh Yunjin!"

There was a very strong hint of teasing in her tone and the younger girl rolled her eyes at her. Yena could only see her through glances as she's too busy driving.

She caught Chaewon rolling her eyes at her perfectly, though.

"Yeah, so what??" Chaewon says with an obviously painfully annoyed look on her face, the older girl knows that she's trying very hard to act like she doesn't care. She failed.

When Yena sent her a text about hanging out, she didn't expect them to be talking about Huh Yunjin the moment they left campus.

"Oooh.. Someone's pissed off." Yena snorts when she hears Chaewon scoff. This time accompanied with another eye roll.

Yena wasn't able to see it this time as she turned her full attention up front. "I'm not pissed off. I'm just slightly irritated.. and who wouldn't be?" Chaewon says, crossing her arms as she did.

"I was just asking if it was Yunjin back there, no need to give me so much attitude!" Yena jokingly responds and Chaewon keeps her mouth shut.

She should have just kept quiet the first time. It was probably because she was just talking to Yunjin a few minutes before and she was already in a bad mood because of her.

"So, it is her. When did she come back? Almost didn't recognize her because of her hair!" She ends the sentence with a chuckle.

Chaewon shrugs this time. Not trusting herself not to say anything with sass or with any form of rude behavior.

Yena glances at her once before sighing, "I'm just making small talk, Chae."

"Yeah, about Huh Yunjin. You can't possibly expect me to talk to you about her without getting any attitude from me." Chaewon mumbles.

She was right. No one can ever talk to her about Huh Yunjin and expect her to act all calm and happy about it.

She hates the girl, for crying out loud! Chaewon can't seem to understand why people were so ignorant about that specific information.

"Well, of course, I'd talk about her to you. Aside from you being the only other passenger inside my car aside from me, you're the person who hates her with a burning passion."

Chaewon only huffs.

"And because you're my friend and I'm curious about what you feel right now that she's back." Yena added.

She knew Yena meant well, she wouldn't purposely get on her nerves by talking about Huh Yunjin (Yena would purposely get on her nerves in a heartbeat).

But she seems and sounds very sincere and genuine in the moment even if she was chuckling a bit because of her serious statements.
