Yunjin's dad picked her up from Chaewon's when they finished the documentation sheet. She could only finally relax when she got into their car and forgot to text Chaewon when she arrived home.

It's not like Chaewon cared anyway.

Thanks to Chaewon's mom, Yunjin was able to avoid catching a cold after that day. Yunjin was relieved that she hadn't caught anything; she didn't have to skip any of her activities for the following days.

But because of this, her parents think it would only be fair that they thank the Kims for accommodating Yunjin for a few hours by inviting them over for dinner. Yunjin thinks otherwise. She thinks it's unnecessary.

"We don't need to do that..." Yunjin mumbled. She didn't want to sound ungrateful, so she kept her voice as soft and as calm as possible. She was already thinking of excuses as to why the Kim family wouldn't be able to attend just so her parents wouldn't push the idea of a dinner anymore.

"Giving them gifts as thanks is enough, Mom. I'll just do that."

"Nonsense, Jennifer. I think it's better just to invite them to dinner, it's the proper way!" There wasn't a proper way of thanking someone, at least that's what Yunjin thinks. Her mom was just being as extra as ever and her dad was just letting her mom decide.

Yunjin sighed, "I doubt they'd be free, anyway."

"At least try to ask them, Jen. You weren't acting like this when we wanted the Nakamuras to come over?"

Well, that was because the Kims aren't like the Nakamuras. Yunjin is sure Chaewon's family is nice and all, hell, if Chaewon's mom's personality and kind heart weren't telling enough, Yunjin doesn't know what is.

What she meant to say was that Chaewon isn't like Kazuha. Kazuha would love to have dinner at their house. Chaewon, on the other hand, would probably hesitate to come over.

Because why would she come over, anyway?

Chaewon probably thinks dinner is unnecessary as well.

"Kazuha is my friend. Chaewon isn't."

"I don't see the problem in that. You two can become friends if she comes over, no big deal!" Yunjin winces at the thought because that would definitely not happen.

She doesn't say anything, though. Her mom would just keep telling her to at least try. Sure, she'll try but she doubts Chaewon would say yes to the invite.

Plus, Yunjin is still not over what happened inside Chaewon's room. Her whole presence was all about Kim Minju and so was her room. Yunjin can't take any more of it.

But, sure. She'll try to invite the older girl.

Which led her to where she is now. Rehearsals flew by so fast that she didn't even notice the time. When she arrived, she thought she'd have enough time to start thinking of what she'd do to tell Chaewon about the dinner.

Spoiler alert: she was not able to think of anything.

She was so immersed in rehearsals that she forgot all about it. On top of that, she's been avoiding Chaewon a little more today.

She has no idea why but something about Chaewon today was ... she can't quite pinpoint it.

To Yunjin, she looked a bit unenthusiastic. She looked tired. More tired than usual.

And Yunjin, being the self-aware queen that she is, knows damn well that talking to Kim Chaewon in this state may just trigger a fight. She's probably the last person Chaewon wanted to talk to right now.
