"You've been quiet ever since this morning, unnie... are you okay?"

Eunchae sat down beside Yunjin on the sand. The redhead has been sitting in front of the ocean ever since she and Sakura came back from buying everyone drinks.

Yunjin doesn't know how long she has been sitting there. All she wanted was to be alone at the moment.

But she would never push Eunchae away.

"And... unnie, you've been sitting here for a good hour now. Don't you want to go somewhere else? Aren't you hungry?"

Yunjin slowly shook her head. She hadn't even noticed that she had been sitting on the sand for an hour...

She only noticed then that their volleyball game had ended. Some of them had already returned to the hotel, but the others stayed behind.

"I'm not really hungry." She mumbles.

She could feel Eunchae's eyes on her. She knows if she turns her head towards Eunchae, she'll see her concerned face.

And that would truly break Yunjin's heart.

"You don't look okay, unnie." She hears Eunchae say. She could already hear the sadness in the younger girl's voice.

It was normal for Eunchae to be worried. Maybe she also noticed that Yunjin and Kazuha hadn't been talking for almost the whole day.

Yunjin wouldn't be able to know how to explain it to her.

Maybe Eunchae felt the same way as Kazuha...

"I'm not," Yunjin whispers before shifting in her spot, "But I'll be fine."

"Are you sure? Do you want to be alone?"

Yunjin thinks about it for a little bit. She had already calmed down. Her emotions were as calm as the waves. She didn't feel jealous anymore. She didn't feel irritated anymore.

She was doing fine at the moment.

Maybe watching the water and hearing the waves helped.

So she shook her head, "It's fine, Eunchae. You can stay."

Her younger cousin doesn't move. She sits there on her spot as she watches the waves with Yunjin.

Eunchae wondered about a lot of things.

From the moment she woke up to not seeing Kazuha and Yunjin to the moment she started noticing how Yunjin and Kazuha stopped talking almost the whole day.

She wonders if they had a fight and if they did, she wonders what it was about.

Was it a huge fight? Was it something she could help with? Was it a topic she had little knowledge about? Can she help them fix the problem?

Eunchae was just very worried.

"You know, I never thought beaches would be this relaxing." Yunjin suddenly mumbles and it catches Eunchae's attention.

"I loved painting the sea but I never appreciated them enough. I loved when the cold water would reach my feet but I hated when the sand got stuck on my wet skin." Yunjin played with the sand beside her and Eunchae listened.

"I hate when the sand gets too hot because of the sun, I hate when it feels too rough under my feet... but I've always loved the sunset."

Eunchae slowly smiles at Yunjin's words. She missed when Yunjin used to describe things like that.

"I'm starting to appreciate the whole beach now. I guess to appreciate something is to be sad about something else." Yunjin laughs at her own words. She doesn't know if she made sense but she knows Eunchae wouldn't question her about it.
