Kim Chaewon, at a young age, found out that she liked singing. Even if she felt like she could never be as good as the singers and the idols she saw on TV.

She loved listening to songs and she loved singing them once she learned the lyrics. Her days as a kid consisted of her finding new songs to learn and writing the lyrics on random scratch papers.

Her parents noticed Chaewon's love for singing and music and they would always encourage her to sing for them.

Chaewon remembered vividly, the first time her parents let her sing in a family reunion. She doesn't remember her age but she knew it was one of her earliest memories.

She sang a song she heard on the car's radio that she learned in a week. Trying her hardest in front of her relatives.

She was very shy and lacked confidence due to being young and lacking experience but she would never forget how much her relatives showered her with compliments.

They were all very impressed with Chaewon's singing and even told her she could become a great singer one day.

She just needed to keep on practicing and she believed them.

At the age of 10, she found out that she could dance. Her school held a dance competition, and while the kids were practicing inside their room, Chaewon easily copied their dance steps.

This caught her teacher's attention. She was so shocked and impressed that she encouraged Chaewon to join the competition.

Just like how her relatives showered her with compliments, she had developed a knowledge about herself.

She was good at singing and dancing.

But she always viewed those talents as just hobbies she could do when she was bored.

Soon, she joined a choir. That was when she found out that singing wasn't just a mere hobby.

It was her talent.

She started practicing more. She started learning how to sing properly.

One of the teachers in the choir had approached her once, and asked her if she danced, too.

Of course, Chaewon nodded her head. She could dance, she used to dance. She may not be a good one but she does.

That same person had told Chaewon to check out theater performances. At the time, she had no knowledge about such things.

She took her to a show and that's when another door opened for Chaewon. Another type of music that involved acting, singing, and dancing.

And Chaewon instantly fell in love.

She joined a little theater club in her school, then. She was scared. She knew she could dance and sing but she wasn't sure about acting.

But knowing that her teacher believed that she could do it gave her the strength to push through.

And at the end of her first-ever theater performance, her teacher approached her and held her shoulder, looking her straight in the eyes with a sweet smile.

"You're an amazing performer. I can't wait until you find a group of your own."

It stuck to her until she reached middle school. Where she decided to transfer and look for new schools to study in.

She could never leave theater behind so she found SCE Academy.

It wasn't known.

In fact, it was nowhere near as good as the other known academies. But Chaewon found out that there would be a theater performance each year for potential students to watch and it was the charm that drew Chaewon in.
