Script 12: All alone I watch you watch her

Chaewon actually doesn't know what came over her. She doesn't know why she suddenly decided to meet up with Yunjin in a coffee shop just to continue their egg baby project.

When she told Yunjin that they should do it together, Yunjin immediately sent her a text back asking if she was sure. She had to confirm it repeatedly before she lost patience and told Yunjin to meet her at a nearby coffee shop, no questions asked.

But Yunjin being Yunjin, asked more questions.

Huh:

What about Hong's cafe?

Kim Chaewon:

Pass.

I'd rather not have Jimin make another newspaper section about me

Huh:

She won't write anything about it

Kim Chaewon:

I don't see why she won't. She has done it a ton of times just to piss me off

That's how annoying she is

Huh:

Will she even be there?

Kim Chaewon:

Hong's cafe is too close to the academy. A ton of students walk by, especially students from the journalism club

In a week or so, my name would be in her newspaper

Huh:

Well, this time, you won't. I promise you.

Kim Chaewon:

How can you be sure about that?

Huh:

Trust me. Just this once.

When Yunjin sent her that last message, she was instantly reminded of Yunjin's script. The scene that they rehearsed last time. Where Yunjin's character would be asking Chaewon's character to stay the night and she can leave and never return in the morning.

Chaewon felt like she had no other choice but to agree. She'll blame Yunjin if Jimin somehow finds out about their sudden meet-up anyway.

She just swears that if their names ended up in the school's newspaper again, Yunjin would instantly lose that one chance that Chaewon had already given her by temporarily letting her back in the club again.

So, they meet up at Hong's cafe after a few days. Chaewon gets dropped off by her dad as he is on the way to work and decides that he'd take Chaewon with him to make it easier for her.

"I'll be home early." Chaewon opens the door, stepping outside as her dad watches her.

"You can call Mom if you need a ride home, okay?" Chaewon nodded and smiled at him. "Good luck with work,"

He smiled back, "Alright. I'll see you later at home."

Chaewon only hums before finally closing the door. Taking a step back and watching her dad's car slowly drive away from the side.

She sighs before sending Yunjin a quick text, telling her that she's here and that Yunjin better be there when she enters.

She doesn't get a response, though. She blows a few strands of her bangs away from her face from irritation before deciding to finally enter the cafe.

The bell chimes and Chaewon gets deja vu from hearing the familiar sound. After Heeseung took her there, the events that came after were a nightmare.

At least, for her, it was.
