As the dawn broke, Taehyung found himself sitting up, his mind still filled with the events of the previous day. The excitement of planning the baby shower, the surprise of Jungkook's message, and the realization of his feelings - it was a lot to process.

Taehyung is trying to subside his feelings because he knew this outcome was a huge possibility in the back of his mind. There was too much happening in his own life to even think about his feelings for Jungkook.

He hasn't been able to breathe. He has a baby on the way, a baby shower to plan, school to pass, it was all too much.

His nausea began to worsen day by day. He hasn't felt good in a week, and he finds himself running to the bathroom, but nothing comes up. Except today. This morning was different. He has a check-up after school. He was scared, because he is going to see his baby for the first time.

Taehyung looked in the mirror. His fatigue was beginning to show more. He whipped out his old make-up he used for parties and began throwing it on his face.

Jungkook was letting water trickle down his body. Try-outs were in two days, and he was getting his confidence back.  His mind was thinking about Taehyung and the stress the boy is under. He hopes that Taehyung doesn't feel alone in any of this.

Soon basketball will take up most of his schedule.

As they both got ready for school the two couldn't help but think about the day ahead of them. At school Taehyung tried to focus, but there was too much already trying to process in his brain. There was no room for any new information.

At lunch Jungkook sat at the table with a long exhale. Taehyung looked over at him and for once he couldn't' hold eye-contact. Jimin and Jin analyzed the mannerisms of the boy and knew something was weird.

Taehyung was acting strange. The large gap between him and Jungkook and the words that were exchanged between them.

"So Tae, do you have the nursery ready for your baby shower on Saturday?" Jimin cleared his throat, ruing the silence that filled the table, "No, I have been too tired to find any energy to clear it out," Taehyung spoke softly and Jimin hummed.

"We can do that tonight after we go get food," Jungkook offered quickly and Taehyung just smiled and nodded, "I thought we were going to the basketball court tonight?" Namjoon asked with confusion.

"We can do it a little later, it is only Monday, and we have until Wednesday for try outs,"

"Kook, just because you are confident with try-outs does not mean we are," Hoseok quickly replied and Jungkook laughed, "Every year we all get on the team, plus we are seniors, we will be fine," Jungkook remained optimistic, and his gaze went over to Taehyung who had his head pointed out the window.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook questioned and Taehyung looked over at him for a split second.

His eyes were deepened into Taehyungs. They glistened slightly and Jungkook showed a soft smile.

"I feel sick," Taehyung quickly got up and sped out of the lunchroom to the bathroom.

Jungkook watched as Taehyung rushed out of the lunchroom, his heart aching with concern. He made a move to follow him, but Jimin's hand on his arm stopped him. "Give him a moment," Jimin advised.

The rest of the lunch passed in a blur for Jungkook. His thoughts were consumed with worry for Taehyung. He knew that Taehyung was under a lot of stress but seeing him rush out like that made it all too real.

The bell rang for the next class and Jungkook was still worried Taehyung hasn't come back. He spotted the boy slowly grabbing his things out of his locker for the next class. The books resting in the crease of his small baby bump.

"Hey are you okay? Do you need me to walk you to the nurse?" Jungkook noticed how pale the boy looked; his voice was filled with concern.

Taehyung gave a weak smile.

"I'm just tired," he said, avoiding Jungkook's gaze. "And a little nauseous." But as he said this, he couldn't help but steal a glance at Jungkook. His heart fluttered at the sight of Jungkook's concerned expression.

Ever since realizing he may be falling for Jungkook it was weird, it was weird to talk to him and to look at him.

Jungkook nodded, understanding. He knew that Taehyung was going through a lot. "Let's get through the rest of the day," he said, offering a supportive smile. "And remember, we're in this together."

[Message from Taehyung]

[1:15] You are still coming to the appointment, right?

[1:18] Ofc! Why wouldn't I?

After school, Taehyung and Jungkook made their way to the doctor's office. The waiting room was filled with the soft murmur of other patients, the rustle of magazines, and the occasional beep of medical equipment. Taehyung's heart pounded in his chest as they waited for his name to be called.

Finally, a nurse appeared at the door. "Kim Taehyung?" she called out. Taehyung stood up, his legs feeling like jelly. Jungkook gave his hand a reassuring squeeze before they followed the nurse into the examination room.

The doctor, a kind woman with a warm smile, greeted them. She asked Taehyung a series of questions about his health and symptoms. Taehyung answered them as best as he could, his voice barely above a whisper.

Then came the moment they had been waiting for. The doctor applied a cool gel to Taehyung's stomach and moved the ultrasound probe over it. The room was filled with the sound of the baby's heartbeat, strong and steady. On the screen, they could see a small shape - their baby.

Taehyung's eyes filled with tears as he looked at the screen. He was overwhelmed with a mix of emotions - joy, fear, excitement. He was going to be a father. And as he looked over at Jungkook, who was staring at the screen with wide eyes and a soft smile, he realized that he was not alone in this journey.

His feelings for Jungkook deepened even more in that moment.
