The drive to the mall was filled with singing, talking, and laughter. The two felt like they were back to old times. Times where they didn't have to worry about baby showers or baby clothes. Where Taehyung's clothes fit his body perfectly.

As they arrived at the mall, Jungkook couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. "So, what are you planning to buy, Tae?" he asked, glancing at Taehyung.

Taehyung grinned, "I need some comfortable clothes, you know, something that would fit me and the baby bump."

Just then, they spotted Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi walking towards them. "Hey guys!" Jin called out, waving at them. "Ready for some serious shopping?"

They all walked into a store that had a section for maternity wear. Taehyung immediately started browsing through the racks, picking out various items.

"Why are these so ugly?" Taehyung joked, a laugh emitting from his mouth, "Because middle aged women have no sense of fashion," Jimin rolled his eyes, his hands caressing each peice of clothing.

"Hey, that is a lie, what about Beyonce?" Jin defended, his arms crossing over each other are the three just giggled.

"How is it going?" Hoseok asked, a few clothes hanging from his arms, "Let's just say he might only be spending a few dollars," Jimin responded with a large sigh.

"Wait I like this one," Taehyung grabbed a large, red shirt from the selection and held it up, "It looks comfortable," Jin analyzed with a shrug, "It isn't you, but it is pregnant you,"

"Where is Jungkookie?"

Hoseok looked around and pulled Namjoon close to him, "Hey where did Jungkook go?" Hoseok questioned, "He and Yoongi went over to the sports section, they seen basketball gear,"

"Should we go find him?" Hoseok asked, looking concerned. But before anyone could answer, they saw Jungkook walking towards them, a basketball in his hand."Sorry, guys," Jungkook apologized, a sheepish smile on his face. "I saw this basketball and couldn't resist."Taehyung laughed, shaking his head. "You and your basketball, Kookie," he said, playfully rolling his eyes. "Did you forget we're here to shop for clothes?" Taehyung lectured playfully.

"How can I forget when it is going to break my bank?"

"It actually won't because Taehyung thinks all the clothes are ugly," Jimin stated in response, "Yeah, no shit," Yoongi laughed, coming behind Jungkook and walking up to the clothes.

"Actually, I found this, do you like it?" Taehyung smiled brightly as he held it up in front of Jungkook, "It is definitely your color,"

Taehyung flushed red and Jin shook his head, "How about we just go find nice hoodies and sweatpants for you?" Hoseok shrugged and Taehyung turned to face him.

"So you think this is ugly?"

"Tae, don't pay attention to him, do you see how he dresses?" Jungkook teased, Hoseok just held up his middle finger with annoyance.

"Hey, I dress just fine!" Hoseok retorted, feigning offense. The others laughed, the atmosphere light and playful."Sure, Hobi, whatever you say," Yoongi teased, earning a playful shove from Hoseok. As they continued shopping, Taehyung managed to find a few more items he liked. "What do you guys think about this one?" he asked, holding up a pair of comfy maternity jeans.Namjoon gave a thumbs up, "Looks comfortable and stylish, Tae."They decided to take a break and grab something to eat. As they sat in the food court, Jin started a lively debate. "So, who's the best dressed among us?"Jimin immediately pointed at himself, "Obviously, it's me."After their meal, they returned to shopping. By the end of the day, Taehyung had a decent haul of comfortable clothes, and Jungkook had his basketball. As they were leaving the mall, Yoongi turned to Taehyung, "You sure you got everything you need, Tae?"Taehyung nodded, "Yeah, thanks to you guys."On the drive back home, Taehyung looked over at Jungkook. "Thanks for today, Kookie," he said, his voice soft. "It was fun."Jungkook glanced at him, a warm smile on his face. "Anytime, Tae. Anytime."

Taehyung gazed out of the window, somehow his thoughts kept on drifting to Jungkook. Every time he tried daydreaming about Do-Yeon the boy's face appeared.

"Hey Jungkook," Taehyung broke the silence between them, "Yeah?"

Taehyung sighed and shifted his eyes to the boy who was driving with one hand. His other was rested on his own thigh.

"How do you feel about Ara?"

The question hung heavy in the car. If Jungkook knew the answer he would say it. But even that is a question that he can't answer.

"I have no clue,"

Just the response Taehyung wanted to hear. Not really.

"Really?" Taehyung asked, trying to keep the disappointment out of his voice. "You've been spending a lot of time with her."Jungkook sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know, but it's complicated, Tae. I enjoy spending time with Ara, but I don't know how I would balance everything is she was thrown into the mix,"

Taehyung nodded with a small pout forming over his face, "Well I am sure she would go with it if you liked her, you are a really good person,"

"Thank you, Tae,"

"Hey, do you want to maybe stay with me tomorrow night? Since we would have to meet at the venue early, we can go together,"

"Yeah, I don't see why that would be a problem,"

The rest of the drive was filled with comfortable silence, each lost in their own thoughts. When they finally reached Taehyung's house, Jungkook helped him with his shopping bags."Thanks again, Kookie," Taehyung said, giving him a grateful smile. "For everything."Jungkook shrugged, "It's no big deal, Tae. Besides, it was fun shopping with you."Taehyung chuckled, "I'm glad you think so. I'll see you tomorrow then?"Jungkook nodded, "Yeah, see you tomorrow, Tae."With a final wave, Jungkook drove off, leaving Taehyung standing at his doorstep. As he watched Jungkook's car disappear down the street, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness.

Maybe one day, in a world of perfection. Jungkook didn't have to leave and instead would stay with Taehyung.
