Escape {You Killed Mr. President}

Chapter 29: Escape

While they chased after him, John looked at Lauren,
"Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?" he asked while driving,

"Because I was afraid if I tell you, you'll be mad,"

"Mad at..., why would you say that," he said while driving on the road with soldiers shooting at him.

While he was driving, he saw a helicopter flying above him with a massive amount of soldiers chasing after him. Lauren was so scared while the chase was going on.

With the cars driving on the road, it was a little hard for John to drive at high speed. While driving, Lauren looked and saw lots of soldiers pulled over the way in front of them.

"Look out," she yelled and John pulled over in the middle of an army.

"Get out of the car with your hands up, it's over," one of the soldiers said,

"We are surrounded, what are we going to do?" Lauren asked,

"Alright just stay calm okay, I'll give them the key and surrender,"

"Surrender, why would you surrender?" she asked curiously

"Get out of the car Mr White," another soldier yelled,

"Thanks so much for everything, please take care of yourself and our baby," he said, then tears rushed out of Lauren's eyes massively as she grabbed him and kissed him goodbye because she knew it was over.

After the kiss, John stepped out of the car with his hands raised above his head, as soldiers surrounded him and walked closer to him. They tied his hands and took him away. They kept him inside their van and drove him away while Lauren was in the car crying.

She was confused and didn't know what to do, so she got into the driver's seat and followed them.

Meanwhile...

"Ma'am we have Mr White with us," one of the soldiers said to the authority,

"Good job, bring him over the president said she wants to be the one to get the key from him herself," he said,

"Yes sir," the soldier said ending the call, "Let's move, we're going to the barracks, then we'll fly him to the White House, straight orders from the authority,"

While the President was in her office, there was a knock on the door. She asked the person knocking to come in and a man entered the office with Lilian,

"Ma'am, Lilian Tallman, the woman who found Mr White, we flew her here as soon as she told us his location for her safety," he said,

The president smiled,
"Please come in," she said and Lilian walked into the office and sat down while the other man walked back to his duty post.

"Congratulations Mrs Lilian, and thank you for helping us find the murderer," she said but Lilian wasn't smiling because she knew she betrayed her friend.

"You're welcome," Lilian said and forced out a smile on her face,

"As soon as he arrives at the White House, we'll give you the money. Mr white is a slippery biscuit he knows how to escape anything," she said,

"Alright ma'am," Lilian said and they both waited for him to arrive.
