Sharvari's pov:
I knocked the wooden door twice before entering inside , the beautiful interior was something that caught my attention before it shifted to the family photos displayed on the walls.

"shravu, come inside."
I heard maasi calling my name as I found her sitting on the bed with her glasses on.

"maasi do you want to talk?" I asked her.
"sit." she patt the place beside her before I sat.

She took off her specks and placed them inside the box before sliding it inside the side drawers.

"shravu, I want to talk about gitishka."
She said as my ears perked up listening to Aviraj's mother's name.

"I know it's a sensitive topic for you but-I just can't hold it anymore."
Maasi continued sighing and halting in between.

This topic is as sensitive for her as much as it's for me, maybe more for her since she is the one who took her late sister's place in everyone's lives.

"I know shravu gitishka is someone who created problems in your married life and even misunderstandings but - she's not that bad."
listening to the last sentence my gaze shot up at her.

"what are you saying maasi?" I asked her.

" shravu, I know gitishka is not someone you like and trust me the feelings are mutual but , what she has done for my aviraj - I don't think any other woman would've done." now her words made me confused.

"shravu gitishka did more than expected for my aviraj and trust me when I say this because I love my avi more than dev , not because he's my late sister's only son or because he's my only nephew but- because he was the one who brought a ray of hope in our lives." she said wiping her tears.

"I trust you maasi." I said remember the times when we were together and happy or when we were with our daughter. That man indeed made everyone happy while hiding his pain.

"gitishka might be a vile women but she never did anything wrong to my avi instead she accepted him , took care of him , gave him love and did everything else for him without any greed. She truly loved him as her own son and did everything selflessly." she said without any emotions this time.

"she really loves him, isn't it?" I asked maasi.
"she loves him like a mother." she replied.

"my avi was apparently four years old when his grandmother asked him if he wants a mother and do you know what he replied?" she asked looking at me.
"what?" I asked being clueless.

"he said that his mumma became a star because god needed her beside him." she said with tears.

"Naman always told him that now Aaranya was a star, his mumma became a star and that's one of the reason why they both couldn't move on from her." she said.
