"So you're leaving...?" You said plaintively , though you tried to hide it.

"Yeah..." Wukong murmured sheepishly, "But I'll be back in a little bit!"

"How long is a little bit?"

"I..." The ginger simian paused. Truth was, he had no idea how long he'd be gone for. "I have no clue." He admitted shamefully. You're snow white tail swayed behind you as you let out an exhale. You turned around to face the mountain demon bull king was trapped under by Wukong, small buds of grass danced along with the wind at the top of the mountain. 

The Sun shone brightly in the sky, leaving a warm breeze in the air as the clouds began shifting from a pink-ish tint to a snowy white color. The orange and yellow hue radiated from the sun and cast a light onto you, your hair was carried along with the warm breeze. Despite the beautiful sunrise that  you were bestowed upon, you couldn't help but feel a deep sadness wash over you. You couldn't look at Wukong, you couldn't face him. You just couldn't.

"M/n..." Wukong called out to you.

"Hm?" You hummed, turning your head in the direction of Wukong.

The ginger monkey felt the words he wanted to say get stuck in his throat, creating a lump. He swallowed harshly as he pulled his arm back as his eyebrows furrowed. "Please just... look after the staff for me..." He sighed.

You nodded your head, "Of course."
