As Lisa waited for Jennie at the entrance of the school, she's used of Jennie being cold towards her. Lisa was a persistent person and liked Jennie, but Jennie didn't reciprocate her feelings and kept pushing her away.

As Jennie arrived at the entrance, Lisa approached her and said, "Hey Jennie, how was your morning?"

"Fine," Jennie replied coldly, taking her things from Lisa's hand.

"Is something wrong? You seem distant," Lisa said.

"Nothing, I'm just not in the mood to talk," Jennie said, pulling away from Lisa.

As Lisa watched Jennie walk away, she couldn't help but feel disappointed. It seemed that no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get Jennie to like her back.

Still, Lisa continued to try to win Jennie's affection by being attentive and kind. But every time she took a step forward, Jennie seemed to take two steps back.

Despite the constant setbacks, Lisa refused to give up. She was determined to show Jennie that she could be a great partner, even if it meant dealing with her cold demeanor and distant attitude.

Lisa approached Jennie's desk in the library, determined to get her attention and offer her help with her homework.

"Hey Jennie, do you need any help with those equations? I'm good at math you know," Lisa said with a smile on her face.

Jennie rolled her eyes and replied, "I can manage on my own, thank you." Her tone was cold and dismissive.

"Oh, I see. Well, if you ever need help, let me know," Lisa said, trying to keep her tone light and friendly.

"I don't need your help, go away," Jennie replied curtly, her tone sharp and harsh.

Lisa felt a sting of embarrassment and hurt as she walked away from Jennie's desk, feeling rejected and unwanted.

As Lisa sat down nearby, she couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and disappointment. Jennie's continuous rejection was starting to take a toll on her.

Determined to make Jennie see her value, Lisa decided to take a new approach. She would prove to Jennie that she could be a valuable friend and partner, and that her persistent efforts to be there for her were worth it.

"Jennie, do you need any help with that problem?" Lisa asked, trying to sound helpful and friendly.

Jennie gave her a withering look before snapping, "No, I don't need your help!"

Lisa felt the sting of Jennie's words and felt herself starting to become angry and fed up with the rejection. She knew she needed to walk away before she said something that would only make the situation worse.

With a heavy heart, Lisa gathered her things and walked away from Jennie's desk. She couldn't help but feel like she was at a dead end, that no matter what she did, Jennie was never going to see her for the kind and caring person she was.

_____

Lisa was determined to turn Jennie around and make her see that she could be a great friend. As they met in the school gym, she tried to show her kindness by giving Jennie a towel and water. But Jennie's harsh words pushed her away again.

"Here, I got you a towel and water," Lisa said, holding out the items to Jennie.

Jennie's words were cruel and callous, "I don't need your charity, I can do it on my own."
