APRIL

As the morning sun shone through the window, I slowly woke up. My body ached in all the right ways, and I couldn't help but smile as I remembered the intense night with Logan.

As I was about to get up, I felt Logan's arm wrap around my waist. I turned to see him smiling at me, his playful expression making me chuckle.

"Where are you going?" he asked, pulling me closer to him.

I smiled and replied, "I'm going to my dad's for the weekend."

Logan pinned me to the bed swiftly and kissed me. "Five more minutes." He whispers.

"I can't. I have to -"

He kisses my neck softly sucking and licking.

"Five minutes," I said with a chuckle, giving into him.

But Logan just smirked and replied, "Five minutes is all I need."

Instead of feeling scared or worried, I felt a rush of excitement and anticipation. I leaned in and kissed him, unable to resist him.

"Don't stop. We still have three minutes left." I say to him.

I sat in my room, listening to Lauren angrily complain about April and Logan. She was furious that April had "taken" Logan.

"I can't believe Logan would do this to me and April too." Lauren fumed. "Literally, everyone knows how good Logan and I are together, and she just goes and steals him away!"

I'm so sick of this. I'm so sick of always listening to her crap. Her ego is so big she can't even see five feet in front of her.

"She's a bitch. One week at our school, she's got everyone kissing her ass even you. I didn't forget about that day when you ditched me to hang with her. What do you see in that bitch anyway?" She continued.

"Are you kidding me.." I mumbled but she couldn't even hear me.

"I'll them regret it. Both of them."

I couldn't take it anymore. I was tired of Lauren being so self-centered and only thinking about herself. Without thinking, I blurted out, "Maybe if you weren't so caught up in your own ego, you would realize that he's not worth it!"

Lauren's eyes widened in shock, and I immediately regretted my outburst. But I couldn't take back my words now.

"What?" Lauren asked, confused.

"I'm in love with you. I've always been in love with you." I repeated, my voice shaking with emotion. "But you're too busy obsessing over Logan to even notice. Like seriously, Lauren, can you even see me? Am I invisible to you?"

Lauren is sweet sometimes. She can make you feel really special when she needs you. I know this, but I can't help falling for it every time.

Lauren's expression softened, and she reached out to gold my hand. "I'm sorry, Ally. But I'm not into girls. Logan is who I want to be with he's the only one I care about."

As she spoke, I couldn't help but feel a sense of bitterness and heartache. I had been in love with Lauren for so long, but she had never noticed because she was too caught up in her own feelings for Logan.

Only one she cares about? All the times she cried on my shoulders and I held her. Everyone he broke her heart I was the one right there to put her back together but she didn't care. It's like I'm nothing.

"Are you kidding me, Lauren! You're one of my best fucking friends but you can't care about me! You're obsessing over Logan and April for what! They're literally step siblings. Are you that insecure?!" I yell with tears falling from my eyes.

"Did you just say?" Lauren asks with a small smirk creeping in. Only then did I realize what I had just said.

"Shit. Lauren, you can't tell anyone, April -"

She quickly grabbed my face and kissed my lips. My heart raced in my chest, but when she kissed me, it stopped. I felt like all the air was sucked out of the room. Like we were the only two people on earth.

Lauren pulls away and hugs me tightly. "Oh, thank you, Ally. Thank you so much."

"Lauren I -"

"Don't worry. I won't say a word."
