Ashwin's pov

After talking with me Sivaangi left from my room. I sat on the bed and started rewinding the things that happened today... Morning I was confused about this marriage. Then I got to know that the bride eloped. I thought this marriage is going to be cancelled but my mother brought in another twist that her sister agreed to marry me. Okay, next problem to deal with... I thought I will speak to her and get to know why she decided to marry me and asked my mother permission to speak to her...

Minutes later my mother herself brought that girl to my room. I never knew that another twist was awaiting me.... this girl is my student how am I supposed to marry her.. I thought since she is a small girl she took an immature decision and I can speak to her and make her change her mind but at the end she spoke to me and made me change my mind
Whatever reasons I told to her were my genuine concerns but whatever explanations she gave for that were also kind of genuine... I couldn't deny the fact that this marriage will make my mother happy and will give peace to my parents... That's the only reason for which I agreed for this marriage. Sivaangi asked me to give a try to this marriage. She told we could be friends at least. I guess that's the only thing I can offer to her now... being a good friend.... I tried to persuade her by telling about my past... Ofcourse I couldn't tell anything in detail. I could just tell her that I had a past relationship. But she told that she don't care about that and my past of not a concern for her. She asked me to forget my past. I don't know why... But her words quite calmed me a bit and finally she persuaded me for this marriage.

Sivaangi is a very quite girl in college. I've rarely seen her having fun with anyone. If in case she is happy then it's with 2 boys of the class. I think they are her only friends there. I've never seen her interacting freely with others. Many times I've seen her simply laying down on bench during breaks rather than having fun with others. Last week i saw that few of her classmates were making fun of her for her voice. Frankly speaking I heard her voice properly today only. And it don't seem to have any problems. Maybe different from others voice but it's sweet..... I've not seen her socializing much in college. From what she told now I think it's the same in home as well. But seeing her concern for my parents genuinely made me happy. She is not only thinking about her parents but also my parents and giving importance to their concerns. If this is her nature this single reason is enough for me to marry her. I hope I'm not ruining her future with this early marriage.

My friends come in and they lookef at me questioningly

Rakshan: mappilai unakk antha ponna yerkanave theriyuma? Nee parthath ennamo appidi thaan irunthath.
(Buddy, do you know that girl before? They way you looked at her seemed to be so)

Ashwin: ama da. Enakk avale erkanave theriyum. Ava ennoda student da.
(Yes. I know her before. She is my student)

Sharath: un student aa. Appo chinna ponna irukkume da.
(Your student? Then she'd be a small girl right?)

Ashwin: avalkk 20 years irukkum nn nenaikkire. Ana romba matured aa pesna pa. Ava intha vishaythile enne vide theliva irukka.
(I think she is 20. But she spoke with lot of maturity. In this matter she is more clear than me)

Pugazh: ath eppidi da solre.
(How are you telling that)

Ashwin: nan intha marriage stop panrathukk ennenamo reasons sonna. Ana Ava athukk romba matured aa baadhil kodutha. Ava badhil kett nane shock aayitten. Avaa pakka thaan chinna ponnu ana romba matured aa irukka.
(I told her many reasons to stop this marriage. But she answered all that with lot of maturity. I got shocked hearing her answers. She only looks like a small girl but is very matured)
