"I cannot believe that happened" Sabrina and Jess came laughing down the stairs of Luke's diner.
During the Bracebridge dinner, Richard announced his retirement and has been spending way too much time at home for Emily's liking. She resorted to sending him to Stars Hallow, so Sabrina got up early went straight to school and has been hiding at Luke's ever since. Anything to avoid her Grandfather.
"Hey, where'd he come from? What's up there? Is that where you keep the girls? You got yourself a little cathouse up there?"
Paris started bombarding Jess with questions the minute he came down, instinctively Jess pulled Sabrina behind him. Sabrina looked at Rory and they shared a collective "should we call for help" look
"Wow, I think she got you Uncle Luke. You better give up now."
"Do not add to this insanity."
"An innocent boy like me should not be raised in an atmosphere like this."
"Jess!"
"I wanna be good, life's just not letting me."
"Rory, get her out of here." Luke pointed at the door, he glanced over at Jess' smug look "you know what, all of you out!"
"Cmon let's go for walk" Jess said as Sabrina snickered at his antics ——————————————————————————-
"So you've been spending an awful lot of time with me" Jess started
"What do you mean?"
"Well normally you'd be half asleep with a sandwich dangling out your mouth by now"
"How'd you know about that!?"
"It happened. Yesterday. At the diner. We were at the same table."
"Oh yeah well- ah I can't think of a comeback right now, I'll get back to you later." Sabrina waved her hand
"Ok, now I know something is definitely up, talk to me"
"Just my grandfathers in town, so I'm avoiding him"
"Ah"
"Yeah, it's just- oh my god what is that!?" Sabrina stopped in front of the video store window, there was a picture of Rory in it, displaying her as the poster girl for censorship.
"Is that Rory" Jess asked staring intensely at the picture
"What's she doing up there!?"
Just then a group of kids walked by pointing and giggling at Sabrina and the picture
"Oh my god, Jess we have to get this picture down, I can't have people thinking I'm some sort of upstanding citizen!" Sabrina frantically flailed her arms around
"Hey calm down, no one thinks this is you"
"Those kids did"
"Kids are stupid, besides you guys look nothing alike"
"What do you mean, I'm her spitting image"
"No way, you're a lot prettier"
"What?"
"Uh I said you're a lot prunier"
"Again, what??"
"Yeah, prunier, so you better stop frowning or your wrinkles will get a lot worse"
"Um, I'm gonna go find Rory now, I'll uh see you later" Sabrina awkwardly walked off
"I could've sworn he said prettier, does he think I'm pretty, am I pretty?" Sabrina started blushing and giggling to herself suddenly stopping in her tracks and smacking herself on the head "No, you're delusional Sabrina, stop it."
