The morning of the dance marathon Rory and Lorelai, walked down the sidewalk towards the dance hall. Kirk demanded Sabrina to arrive even earlier so she was already signed it and ready to dance.

"Morning Babette." Lorelai said walking up to the sign in table

"Oh, morning sugar. You guys look terrific."

"Thank you."

"Babette, can I lay down on the table while Mom signs in?" Rory yawns

"Not an early bird, huh?"

"I need to get some coffee in her and we'll be fine. Kirk, however, is gonna be crying like a little teeny girl." Lorelai mocks

"So what else is new? Okay, now you two go get your physicals, bring your release forms inside, and they'll get you a number." Babette replies

"Thanks. Come on, Snoozy." Lorelai leads Rory by her shoulders inside the building

Already inside was Sabrina sitting on the bleachers next to Jess, waiting for the marathon to start. Sabrina was half asleep on Jess' shoulder, and Jess was observing her outfit.

"You look very pretty" Jess whispers

"I feel like a frilly pigeon, a sleepy frilly pigeon" Sabrina yawns

"Oh my god! Luke! coffee!" Sabrina shoots up, spotting Luke setting up his coffee stand, Jess quietly chuckles at her.

Rory was saying hi to Lane, who was handing out eggless egg salad sandwiches, curtsy of Mrs.Kim. She then left and got her physical. Once Lorelai and Rory were approved and ready to dance, Taylor begun his announcements. He talked about the rules and break schedules, then suddenly there was only three minutes left until the dance marathon started.

"Well, I believe three minutes is plenty of time for some coffee." Lorelai turns to Rory

"Yes, coffee, please." Rory pleads

The two girls walk over to Luke's coffee stand.

"Hey, we're dying, load us up." Lorelai says to Luke

"It isn't ready yet."

"What? What do you mean it's not ready? It's six in the morning. Nothing says coffee like six in the morning."

Luke then points over to Sabrina on the bleachers, she had a thermos full of coffee he had given her earlier. Luke hands them two cups, and they go over to Sabrina to get some coffee.
