"Jess!" Sabrina runs up behind Jess hugging him from behind
"Hey" Jess smiles and brings Sabrina to his side
"Guess what's this Thursday" Sabrina excitedly smiles
"What?"
"Stars Hallow High Winter Carnival" Sabrina sticks out her hands as if she was presenting something
"Oh no" Jess groans
"Come on, you have to go with me"
"Nope"
"Please" Sabrina pleads
"I don't-" Jess looks down at Sabrina's face and stares into her eyes
"Alright fine" Jess reluctantly agrees
"Thanks you're the best" Sabrina plants a kiss on Jess' cheek
"So, you want some help with your homework?"Jess asked as they entered the diner
"You're going to help me?" Sabrina confusedly looked at him
"Yup."
"Don't take this the wrong way, but how?"
"Come upstairs and I'll show you."
"Upstairs?"
"Yeah."
"Well, you know how important my education is to me."
"Yes, I do."
Just as they were about to go upstairs Lorelai walks in with an armful of shopping bags.
"Sabrina, hey. Thank God, I need help. Where you going?" Lorelai sets her bags down
"Nowhere."
"See ya." Jess says hurrying up the stairs
"Were you guys gonna go upstairs and kiss?" Lorelai teases
"Wow, look at all those bags" Sabrina quickly changed the subject
Lorelai rants to her about not being able to find a perfect gift to get for Richard's birthday. After looking through the things Lorelai got for him, Sabrina said she would help and buy a present for him on her behalf.
Sabrina left the diner and started walking towards her house. She was stopped in front of a store and looking into the window, when Dean bumped into her.
"Ow!" Sabrina yelped and rubbed her shoulder
"Oh, sorry" Dean said
"Ugh, not you, can't you take a hint" Sabrina rolled her eyes
"Sorry, I was just admiring the new benches in the square, I didn't see you I swear it wasn't on purpose"
"Okay whatever, move along" Sabrina shooed him with her hand
"Hey, you wanna get a cup of coffee?"
"Coffee?"
"Maybe talk a little?"
"What!? Are you crazy? No." Sabrina quickly turned on her heels and sped away
"Wait-" Dean called out to her ——————————————————————————— Lorelai, Rory and Sabrina sat in the living room of the elder Gilmore's house for Richard's sixtieth birthday. Richard was complimenting all of his wonderful gifts, when the doorbell rang.
"One of the porch lights is burned out. Perhaps the simple act of glancing outside a window once in awhile might have alerted someone to the situation." A voice was heard from the doorway
"Gran?" Lorelai turned towards the door from her chair
All of them got up and went to the front hallway to greet the woman. Emily was clearly in shock and had no idea her mother in law was coming over for a visit.
"Hello Lorelai" Trix, Richard's mother, greeted.
"Hello Gran, good to see you" Lorelai greeted back
"You're well?"
"I'm well."
"You're working?"
"I'm working."
"You're single?"
"I'm single."
"By choice, or do you scare the men with your independence?"
"Actually, I scare them with my Minnie Pearl impression."
"Ah, and my favorite great grandchild" Trix turned to Sabrina
"Hello" Sabrina waved
"As soon as I'm all settled, I want to hear all about your future plans"
"Hello, Gran" Rory chimed in
"Oh hello Dory, I almost didn't see you there" Trix scooted by Rory and went further into the house.
Rory looked up towards her mother, who just sympathetically nodded back. And Sabrina silently giggled to herself. ——————————————————————————— The day of the carnival the three Gilmore Girls scrambled through the house hiding their strange memorabilia, knick knacks, and anything else they thought Trix would disapprove of. She decided to drop by for a surprise visit before having dinner at the Independence Inn with Lorelai and her parents.
"Oh, they're here" Lorelai said hearing a knock on the door
"Hey, if she doesn't like the house what happens then?" Rory asked
"I think we have to move. Smile pretty." Lorelai replied before answering the door
"Sabrina!" Trix excitedly greeted Sabrina and pulled her into a hug
"Hi Gran. Hi Grandma, hi Grandpa." Sabrina waved
"And Dory, good to see you again, you got something on your face" Trix observed Rory's face
"Well uh, come on in" Lorelai awkwardly changed the subject
Trix walked around silently exploring the main floor as the others followed behind her. They followed her back into the living room.
"Let's go" Trix said leaving the house, and leaving everyone else confused.
