Frustrating is what I was feeling right now,I hated that feeling.I kept scrolling through my laptop looking through my emails to see if I gotten anything from the interview I had for the job
I needed the money,I want to actually do something and not keep getting money from my big brothers.
I'm a mother,I should be able to do this for my son and I want to give him the world the best I could.
My phone began ringing on my nightstand,I groaned before reaching over to pick it up against my ear "hello?" I spoke
"Hermanaaa!" I heard,I chuckled to myself
"What's going on josh" I said
"Whatcha doing? Wiping that little man's butt or some shit" he joked as I giggled
"No dumbass,I'm dying to hear back from the interview but I'm getting nothing" he sighed on the line
"Y/n relax,you got back from the interview like two hours ago" I scoffed "stop pressuring yourself,you know we don't mind handing you money"
"That's the thing josh,I do mind,I'm the mom" I told him,he laughed
"Okay dude,well whenever you need anything you know you got your big brothers" I exhaled deeply before cracking into a side smile
"Yeah I know,thanks" I say as I hear Daniel starting to wake up in his crib beside the bed "shit I gotta go Daniel is waking up and you know how he gets"
He chuckled "alright I'll let you go,peace out hermana" he said before hanging up,I stood up from the bed to walk over to the crib
He was getting bigger,turning three soon which means he's gonna start getting out the crib.I picked him up,placing him against my chest
"Hey mama's baby" I whispered as he kept blinking to adjust his view,his lips then form into a grin now seeing his mama
"Hi baby" I greeted,he rubbed his eye while pressing his lips together.I smiled to myself watching him do his acts
"Wanna sleep with mama?" He nodded,I walked over to my bed before placing him on the opposite side of mine
He began stretching,he was the cutest chubby baby I've seen.I laid right next to him,having my eyes on him the whole time
I rubbed his belly so he can feel mama's touch to help him fall asleep faster
"Close your eyes honey" I whispered,he listened but will open them here and there when he will have trouble sleeping.
Finally,he was fast asleep.i sat up to turn off the lamp on my nightstand before I laid back down to sleep with my son
THE NEXT DAY
I gently massaged Daniel's scalp with the shampoo while he played with the little bath toys in front of him that one of his uncles gave him
"Lexi is gonna be here in a few okay?" I told him,he smiled
"Lexi" he muttered making me chuckle
Lexi has always been my best friend since middle school,we're basically sisters and she's showed me what a real friend is
I made her daniel's god mother since I know she already treats him as if he was hers in a respectful way,if anything happens to me I know I can trust her to be responsible for him
Daniel loves Lexi,he knows who she is so he knows not to call her mama just cause she takes care of him when I need to go to a interview or anything that I can't have Daniel with me
