I inhaled sharply as I watched Lexi do my hair through the mirror "relax,she's gonna like you" she says causing me to scoff
"How do you know?" I asked,she chuckled with a bright smile
"Cause I love you" she winked,I playfully rolled my eyes knowing I couldn't be annoyed with her.She's trying to calm down my nerves
She finished the last piece of my hair before playing with it carefully as she admired it through the mirror to see her work "ugh aren't my hands magic?" She snickered
I giggled "thanks honey,I just wish I can feel more prepared for this"
"Don't worry y/n,just be yourself and you'll be okay.Miguel says she's sweet and I believe him" she stated
I sighed while checking how my makeup looked,I cleared my throat before standing up "so Miguel is already at his house with Daniel?" She asked
I nodded "yeah and he said Danny had a great time at the park" I smiled,she wigged her eyebrows
"Someone wants to be a daddy" she sang,I shook my head after grabbing a simple purse "oh baby look at the hints,he's taking him out and acting like a dad"
"He did say that he would say Daniel is his" she slightly widen her eyes
"See? He even admitted it and to be honest,it wouldn't be terrible" she crossed her arms
I cackled "thanks for the hair Lexi" I change topic,she grinned "anytime" she spoke
TIME SKIP
I exhaled deeply before knocking on the door,Miguel quickly pulled open.His eyes lit up seeing me "hey beautiful" he softly said
"Hey love,I'm nervous" I whispered.He raised his eyebrows before smirking,he shook his head "don't worry my mom will love you"
"I hope so" i muttered,he took my hand and led me in before closing the door behind me.I saw Daniel with a absolutely stunning woman,he giggled as she tickled his tummy
"Ma this is y/n,my girlfriend and the mother of danny" Miguel introduced,my heart skipped a beat when her eyes met mine.Just like her son's
"Oh hi! Wow you're so gorgeous" she says after picking up Daniel "I heard so much about you"
"Alright we don't gotta get into that" Miguel mumbled,I chuckled
"Its so nice to meet you" I say with a genuine smile "you can call me Wendy mija,I don't mind" she said
"Oh and your son is so adorable,I see where he gets his smile from" she stated,I felt my face get hot from the compliments she was giving me
Wendy and I spoke most of the time of me being there,she's super nice and sweet.She gave me her number just in case I need her for anything,I opened up about my mom and how I lost her
She couldn't help but pull me into an embrace and tell me how strong I am,Daniel kept wanting Wendy's attention so he kept nudging her or staring at her
She's beautiful,no wonder her son is the same way.Miguel was getting impatient since all my attention is all on his mom
he let me know by squeezing his hand into mine or sending me looks but I know I can handle him so I wasn't afraid or rushing to wrap up Wendy's and I's conversation
"Well it was amazing meeting Miguel's girlfriend,you're welcome anytime in my home if you plan to visit" she says
"Aw thank you so much Wendy,that means a lot" I say placing my hand on top of hers
"And if you need a babysitter,I don't mind watching Daniel" she spoke
I looked at her in awe,she's such a sweet soul and kind hearted.God bless her "don't worry ma,she has a lot of babysitters" Miguel stated causing her face express disappointment
"Oh yeah,I have his godmother and my brothers" I told her "but I'll love to have you spend time with him"
She began smiling again "thank you so much y/n,welcome to our family" she says reminding me when Josh said that Miguel
TIME SKIP
Wendy let herself out after saying goodbye to me,Daniel and her son.Miguel turned to me as he shut the door "so you're her favorite now"
I laughed "stop" I said,he slid his hands in his pockets "it's true.She really likes you-honestly I think she loves you already"
"She's so cute.I love her" I say before he places his hands on my waist,he pressed his lips against mine
"Ew" Daniel muttered
I giggled as Miguel widen his eyes at him "excuse me sir?" Miguel joked,he bend down and picked him up attacking his face with pecks getting him to squeal
I allowed Miguel to share his kisses with Daniel,I never found it inappropriate and Daniel isn't uncomfortable with them.He loves being loved,that's why Lexi and I always show him affection
The front door opened revealing mason coming home I was assuming work "oh hey y/n!" he says with a light smiles,I send him a wave with a smirk
"..what are you doing to that poor child" Mason side eyed Miguel causing him to roll his eyes,Miguel then put Daniel down on his feet
"Well I think we should be heading out" I spoke,Miguel groaned "oh no no"
"Yeah it's getting late honey,I loved being with you and your mom but Daniel and I need some sleep" I say caressing Daniel's hair
"Alright,I wish I can be with you longer" he says with his puppy eyes activated,I pecked his lips before carrying Daniel
"Say bye to Mikey" I told him,Daniel waved repeatedly "bye Mikey" he spoke.Mason chuckled along with Miguel
"Bye kiddo" Miguel rubbed his belly as I walked past him and Mason,Mason opened the door for me.I turned at Miguel one more time
He winked at me,I blushed as I walked out.I carefully took Daniel and I down Miguel's porch steps,I walked us to my car seeing Leandro lean against it
