Y/N POV

The birds chirping was the last noise I thought I was gonna hear in the morning,I squinted my eyes as I slowly lift my head from the pillow.

I groaned as I tried to move,I felt something heavy on my waist.I automatically knew it was Miguel's arm,we talked for hours last night

We kept trying our best to not laugh loudly for Daniel,he's really not a morning person just like his mama

I flopped my head back onto the pillow,the grip on my waist tighten as i got pulled closer to his chest.my face got hot and it wasn't the sun beaming

I closed my eyes to stay like this longer,I hope I wake up like this all the time.

TIME SKIP

I flickered my eyes open before rubbing them to adjust my vision,I didn't feel trapped anymore.i glanced not seeing miguel there anymore

I sat up,trying to fully wake up.I then crawled to the edge to not see Daniel in his crib either causing me to get nervous

I jumped out of bed and walked my way out the bedroom to smell something delicious being made,Daniel then giggled loudly

"Shh you can't wake up mama,niño" I heard Miguel say lowly

"Oops" Daniel says,I smiled before turning into the bathroom to at least brush my teeth.

After brushing my teeth and face,I walked downstairs seeing miguel sitting next to Daniel and feeding him a plate full of breakfast food.

"Looks who's up" miguel says,Daniel's widen his big eyes as he gazed over at me

"Hey mama" he says,I grinned at him "hi honey" I responded

"I thought you didn't know how to cook" I said to miguel,he chuckled

"Well I kinda burned the food,the first couple of times" he awkwardly smirked,I ruffled Daniel's hair before pressing my lips on Miguel's cheek

He blushed while he grinned,I sat next to miguel across from Daniel.Miguel passed his plate over to me,I picked up his fork and took a few bites

"This is good mikey" I say before continuing to chew "well I'm glad you like it baby" he says while placing his arm over my shoulder

I felt his eyes on me and I knew he was watching me eat,I gazed over to him.i began losing myself into his eyes

"Mama" Daniel mumbled as he tried licking the ketchup mess he had around his mouth

I slightly gasp before grabbing a napkin "oh I got it" miguel says as he nicely took the napkin from me since he's closer to Daniel

He wiped the surroundings of Daniel's mouth making Daniel repeatedly flickered his big eyes to the touch,I smiled to his cute reaction

TIME SKIP

after I showered,I got dressed in comfortable pj pants and a tank top.I slid my sandals on before heading down the stairs again to see miguel putting his damp hair into a upper bun

He showered before me so I can watch Daniel and he offered the same when it was my turn,miguel stood up from the couch

"Can I talk to you about something?" He spoke,I raised a brow

"Yeah what's up?" I said,he glanced at Daniel who was watching something with Miguel's phone.Miguel guided steps away from Daniel

"When you were showering,I was talking to Daniel and he asked if I knew who his dad was" my chest tighten as I quickly grabbed onto my necklace to mess around with

"Well what did you say?" I asked

"I just switched topics onto a cartoon show and he wanted to watch an episode so I gave him my phone" I sighed

"I know he's young but he's gonna be three soon and to me..it looks like he's gonna be a smart kid so he's gonna find out sooner or later" he says now rubbing my upper arm

"Oh I don't want to,mikey please..it's better if he doesn't-

"Baby this would hurt him if he's older and finds out you never even bothered to tell him"

I exhaled heavily as I laid my hands backwards on my hips,he wiggled his eyesbrows after looking me up and down

"Don't get cute" I whispered

"Sorry,it's hard when you look good even in a serious conversation" he stated.I rolled my eyes "I said don't do that shit y/n"

I bit back my tongue as I walked up to Daniel and bent down to his level "hey mijo" I say while pushing his natural hair back from his adorable face

"Mama can I color?" He asked,I nodded before picking up one of the coloring books his godmother got him from the coffee shop

"Don't make a mess honey" I told him,he nodded as he opened the colorful book on his lap.I watched him struggling to turn the page but he managed to do it

I admired him and his little adorable movements,I know miguel is right but I think it's still not the time for him to know about Leandro

He wouldn't understand where I'm coming from no matter how much I want him to,I turned behind me to see miguel having his muscular arms crossed across his chest

I softly smiled at him causing him to do the same,I cleared my throat as I stood up facing miguel "I don't know if you have plans today but if you do,it's okay to go do them-

"My plans are you and Daniel,I'm not going anywhere.I want to be here with you guys" he says

"Thanks mikey" I whispered

"Anything for you chula" he walked up and wrapped his arms around my waist,I hugged his neck feeling his warm temperature

The feeling in my stomach overwhelmed me,Miguel then let go of me before sitting himself beside Daniel to watch him color

This is definitely what I want,I want to see more of this.I trust miguel with all my might and I know Daniel does too

LEXI POV

I drew my lip liner across my upper lip for the second time to make sure I didn't miss a naked spot then the go-to lipstick,I closed my small makeup mirror before tossing it in my big purse

I walked into the boutique seeing a few of my employees "hey ladies" I greeted them with a grin

"Hey Lexine,we been doing good so far" she said referring to the customers

I nodded as I made my way into the back to put my stuff away,I stepped back out seeing some women come in

They browsed around the clothes I had up for them,I began helping them to see their interest.i heard the bell of the door sound getting my attention

My blood ran cold seeing leandro once again..
