"You're her babysitter??" Brady shockingly asked,I nodded with a confused expression "okay do you want to get out of the friendzone or not?"
"I'm not in the friendzone jackass" I told him,brady face palmed as Mason sighed
"Honestly I don't think he's in the friendzone,seems like she's afraid of commitment" Maddy spoke,I pointed at her while looking at the guys
"That's what it is,she doesn't like talking about her baby daddy.I feel like he must've done something that she doesn't want to talk about,he could be the reason why she's like that" I rambled
"Oh that makes sense! That's the reason,Mikey you gotta find out what happened with that guy" Mason says,i scrunched my face
"What? How? She doesn't like talking about him" i said
"I know which means you gotta make her so comfortable enough that she brings him up,maybe bring something up relating-you can bring up-
"I'm not bringing up my ex!" I scolded,he groaned "I don't like talking about her"
"Yeah but that's what you guys have in common,not talking about each other ex's so you can relate on it" Tristan said,my eyebrows knitted together
"You know what,your stupid ass makes sense for once" I said,
"Hey" tris whined as Mason nudged him "yeah okay"I chuckled while shaking my head.He's not wrong,I could bring up my ex and she can bring up Daniel's father
I can see why she's afraid of committing,I'm all about relationships and marriage with kids.I don't like wasting my time
"You're better than the dickhead anyways" Brady says before taking a sip of his beer
"Of course,it's me" I cockily said with a smirk
"Oh shut up.Daniel is better than you" Maddy says after crossing her arms,I rolled my eyes
NEXT DAY/Y/N'S POV
it was Sunday thankfully I had a day off today,Lexi and I decided to get our nails done which were so neat.I smiled looking at my nails against the keyboard of my laptop
The front door busted open making me jump only seeing my big brothers "I gotta get that key back" I told them
The brothers shared looks before looking back at me "nahhh" they said at the same time while waving at me,I rolled my eyes
"Where's my kid?" Josh asked,I smirked "what weirdo?"
"He's with Lexi in the kitchen" I said,he couldn't hold the smile back.Carlos pat his chest as Lexi came out with Daniel in her arms
"Oh hey guys" Lexi greeted,Carlos rubbed his hands together with a head nod as josh stared with a soft smile
Lexi stared at josh "please stop drooling over each other,it's getting on my floor" I said,carlos laughed before sitting beside me on the couch
"Whatcha doing chica?" He asked
Lexi sat at the other end of the couch with Daniel,josh slowly sat next to her looking at Daniel
"Just checking emails" I said,carlos hummed
"You don't need money this month?" He asked,I shook my head
"Actually no,I think I'm good" I said with a side smile,he leaned back
"Is my sister stacking now?" He joked,I giggled before he placed his head on my shoulder "work is tiring"
"Tell me about it,my feet be killing me" josh spoke up with Daniel on his lap "I be needing a foot rubbing" Lexi chuckled getting his attention
Their eye contact was always strong like..me and Miguel
Lexi was young when she met josh but she always had a thing for him,when she hit 18 she wanted to make a move.She got shy so she ignored it but when josh started showing interest,her feelings came back
"You know,I think we should all go out" Lexi says as she looked at me "you can bring miguel.I think your brothers would love to meet him"
I widen my eyes giving her look "I think that's a good idea,what you think Carl" josh speaks sarcastically,Carlos sat up
"I'll love to meet the guy" Carlos says with a grin,he turned to me and wiggled his eyebrows.I nudged him
"Shut up" I mumbled
"He babysat Daniel while we went out" she says taking Daniel from josh,josh leaned back placing his arm behind Lexi over the couch.
"Really? He did huh?" Josh says as he put his foot over his leg,I squint my eyes
"Yeah so?"
Carlos and josh began laughing,my eyebrows furrowed along with Lexi and her confused look "why is that funny?" I asked
"The boy really likes you" Carlos says,my jaw slightly open
"No he does not-
"Oh y/n wake up,the kid likes you. he took you and Daniel out? Please" josh said,I gasped
"How did you know about that?" I asked closing my laptop,josh and Carlos moved their gaze onto lexi that gritted her teeth together "Lexine.."
"I might've said..something" she muttered before placing a gentle kiss on Daniel's cheek,I scoffed
"So how about we meet with this miguel guy tonight" Carlos says,I raised my eyebrows
"Tonight? What are we going to do?" I asked
"Why not to the mall? I need new jeans anyways" Lexi says with a shrug
"Yeah the mall is nice" josh commented,Carlos shrugged
"I'm down" I rolled my eyes "oh come on,we'll be nice but don't judge us.He's the first guy you brought into this house"
"And we pay your rent so we should meet the guy that's been here plus taking care of my nephew" josh stated
"Fine" I said picking my phone from beside me
