I dried Daniel as I pat the towel against his smooth skin before dressing him up in comfortable pjs,Daniel was starting to get taller which made me feel overwhelmed.
I picked him up and placed him on his feet,he immediately climbed onto the bed we shared "chica! You want food?" Carlos yelled from downstairs
I ruffled Daniel's hair that was increasingly growing "you hungry?" He nodded,I smiled before pecking his head
I opened the bedroom door "yes please!" I shouted,I left the door half open just in case if they call for me again.
i picked up my macbook that was on nightstand and laid it on my lap after getting into bed beside Daniel who then slid closer to me before laying his head on my arm
I ran my fingers through his hair as I browsed,my phone rang beside me.i answered before placing it against my ear
"Hello?" I spoke
"Hey chula what are you doing?" Miguel said,I smirked "I'm here with Danny and just on my laptop" I told him
He hummed "we gotta talk" he exhaled,my eyebrows knitted "Leandro found me with the group and he tried to threaten me"
My eyes widen "what? What did he say?"
"He wants me to stay away from you and daniel" he says,I know he wasn't fond of that idea by the tone of his voice
"Oh I'm sorry Mikey,I don't know what's going on with him but I understand if you don't want baby daddy drama and you want to stop..seeing me" I lowered my voice not wanting to say the lost words
He scoffed "don't worry baby,I'm not going anywhere" he softly spoke,my heart fluttered
"I told him off and I don't care what he tries to do.that's not gonna stop me from seeing you or danny" I heard the proudness causing me to roll my eyes
My cheeks began hurting from how hard I was smiling "I really like you Mikey" I mumbled,he chuckled
"I really like you y/n,I wish I can come see you and the boy" I raised a brow
"Well why don't you?" I asked
"Uh I don't know considering the fact that you're staying with your brothers now,I don't know if they'll
like seeing my face that much" I cackled
"They don't care plus they like you,they don't mind and either way you're here for me not them" I sassed
"Feisty" he muttered "alright well I'll be there in a few" my chest tighten at the fact I'm gonna see him again
"Okay let me know when you're here" he hummed before we hung up "honey guess what" I say getting Daniel's attention
"Miguel is coming over" I told him,he gasped "Miguel" he spoke as I nodded
"beso" I spoke before puckering my lips,he did the same and pecked my lips.I giggled as I closed my laptop and laid it on the nightstand,I stood up
I picked up daniel and carried him downstairs,I saw Carlos place napkins on the table "perfect timing chica,the food is on the way" he said
"So is miguel" I say with a smirk,he chuckled "of course" he muttered
"Heyyyy niño" josh says while walking in from the kitchen "give me" he sternly spoke to me,I scrunched my face looking in disgust
"Why you always wanna argue with me little girl" he says as his accent made itself known,he placed his hands on his hips
"I don't but he's my kid and you don't be nice to me so I won't give him to you" I said,his jaw dropped
"I don't be nice to you??" He exclaimed having his voice going in high pitch,daniel laughed
"That's right so die" I told him before walking to the table
"You die" he argued back
"Alright! I thought daniel was the child one" Carlos spoke,josh smacked his shoulder causing Carlos to side eye him before smacking his
Josh stared as he did it again then Carlos smacked his hat causing to josh to quickly take Carlos's hat revealing his buzz cut
"Okay okay! Ya!" I said as daniel kept giggling at his uncles acting like his age,they squint their eyes at each other
Josh passed his hat back,Carlos placed it on still staring at one another until they busted out of laughter after.
"Lord" I breathed out knowing I'm gonna have to deal with these idiots for a while,knocks were heard on the front door "oh that's mikey!"
Josh went over and pulled it open,Miguel quickly looked at me with his hair down to his shoulders,damped,with comfortable clothes
Black t-shirt with sweats and shoes,he pushed his waves back "hey guys" he greeted my brothers.
They both dabbed him up as he let himself in,josh locked the door behind him "we ordered food,there's enough for you" Carlos says
"Thanks man" Miguel said,Carlos made a slight smile which is unusual.daniel reached his arms trying to reach Miguel
Miguel chuckled before he carefully took daniel from my arms,daniel quickly hugged his neck
"hey buddy I missed you too" Miguel says as he slightly moved side to side for him,josh smiled
"Miguel you got siblings?" Josh asked,Miguel nodded "half siblings,I don't see them as much tho" Miguel responded
"It's just you seem so naturally good with kids" Josh says as he nudged me,I shook my head on how childish he is
"Yeah I love kids,they're always funny to me" Miguel says with a chuckle as he gently pat Daniel's back,josh nodded as he watched how daniel is so comfortable with him
TIME SKIP
After eating,Miguel was sweet enough to clean up the table with me.My brothers being lazy assholes,they don't like cleaning up after themself
The house was honestly a mess when I first started staying,being the best little sister I am,I cleaned around and made things more neater.
I couldn't dare to stay in a house that was a mess especially if it's close to me.
"Thanks for helping mikey" I spoke,he shift his eyes up to me with a soft smile
"Anytime chula" he threw out the box's and paper plates as I wiped down the table,as I almost finished the warm hands on my hips threw me off
I fixed my posture feeling his chest behind my back "what are you doing mikey?" I whispered,he wrapped his arms around my waist as he placed his head on my shoulder
"Nothing.just hugging you" he said,I smirked while laying my hands on his that was over my abdomen.He pressed his lips on my upper cheek after reaching over
"Question" he began,I hummed "can I be your boyfriend?"
My breath hitched..

I feel like you guys don't know the nickname meaning "mi chula" or just "chula",it's just a compliment for us Hispanics
Hot or cool but when Miguel says it,he's calling us hot and mostly Mexicans say it 👍🏼
