I took a deep breath as I felt a shaper chest pain,why am I getting nervous? Miguel and I are just friends.So what if my brothers wanna meet him?
I bounced Daniel in my arms as we walked into the mall,I quickly looked around the entrance to see if miguel was around.
I immediately noticed him,I wasn't able to see his face but the way his body language is and the style.it's definitely him
I walked up to him as he was on his phone scrolling,the hat covered most of his features until he looked up
His eyes slightly widen "hey chula,hey bud" he said towards Daniel.Daniel waved with a grin,I turned seeing my brothers and Lexi making their way over here
"I'm sorry if they are rude in anyway towards you,you're the first guy they met in years" I rambled,he chuckled
"Don't worry about it" he said as my brothers walked up
"What's up miguel,I'm Carlos and this is josh" Carl spoke before reaching his hand out,Carlos and josh always gave gripped handshakes.
It shows who's weak,I watch miguel reach his hand into his with tightening.Carlos made an impressed expression as he shared the look with josh
"Not bad" Carlos muttered "y/n told us you work at footlocker"
"Yeah,I love shoes" miguel says while placing his hands in his pockets
"We do too,maybe you can hook us up with more" josh said.Miguel nodded
"No problem" miguel says with a smirk
"Okay can we shop please? I really need cute jeans" Lexi spoke,josh chuckled
"Yeah let's go" Carlos said before we walked together further in the mall
"I think they like you" I whispered to miguel,he shrugged
"I guess so,it's just natural for people to" he said along with a wink,I rolled my eyes making him straighten his face.
"Sorry" I mumbled,he hummed with a light smile
"Can I hold the boy?" He asked,I nodded before gently placing Daniel in his arms.Miguel bounced him up where Daniel laid his hand on his shoulder,Daniel giggled
I smiled seeing him happy with Miguel,I think miguel is right.it is natural for people to like him,we walked into couple of stores for Lexi since she loves shopping
My brother josh couldn't help but to smile every time he laid his eyes on her,she's so bubbly that she can make you feel alive when you're depressed
We then walked into a store for kids,I admired around the cute outfits that I imagined Daniel in.I slightly gasped as I pointed at them with Daniel
"Aren't they cute?" I asked him,he slowly nodded while his big eyes looking around before they laid on miguel beside us
Miguel smiled having Daniel return the same gesture "I think Daniel likes the guy" Carlos muttered on the other side of me
"Yeah he always wants to be with him" I told him,he raised his eyebrows with a smirk "please don't"
"I didn't say anything but all I'm gonna say is,I approve" he whispered,I scoffed
TIME SKIP
After all the shopping we did,it made us hungry so we made our way to the upper level where there's food available.
I watch Lexi baby Daniel as she carried him in her arms,he laid his head on her shoulder enjoying the attention from her
She spoke to him in Spanish while slowly moving side to side for him,i glance at josh loving the view.I nudged him
"When are you gonna stop being pussy and make a move" I whispered,he sucked his teeth
"Get out my ear.I don't know but I don't want to rush" he says,I crossed my arms
"Yeah cause waiting for years is too fast" i sarcastically spoke,he rolled his eyes
"Hey what about you and Mexicano?" He says with a head nod,I look over in front of us seeing miguel and Carlos chatting it up
"We're friends josh" he chuckled
"Bullshit,he likes you and you like him" i scrunched my face while shaking my head "don't deny it,you feel something for the guy"
Do I? I always get this feeling when he comes around,he's very good looking and perfect with Daniel.I can't force it,he has to come to me
"Well he gotta make the first move,I'll just be there looking pretty like I always do" I say with a smirk
"Yeah I do that too" he joked making us laugh together
Later,we got all our food and found a table that can fit us.There's no high chair for Daniel so I placed him on my lap
Miguel sat across from me,Lexi beside me,josh across from her and Carlos next to him.
We all ordered from different places except for the brothers,they like the same thing so they got the same food.
I fed Daniel,he chews slowly and easily gets distracted by his surroundings.I took a few bites myself before looking up seeing Miguel's gaze on me
"Hello" I say,he softly chuckled
"Hi" he says
"And why are you being creepy?" I joked,he shrugged as he locked his fingers together on the table "cause you're nice to look at" he muttered
I quickly glance at my brothers and Lexi that were distracted,having their own conversation.I cleared my throat as I fed Daniel another bite
"You know I was thinking,why don't we take Daniel to the park this tuesday" he suggested,my eyebrows furrowed while eyeing him
"We have off tuesday" I said,he nodded "yeah we do.good job you know your days" he teased
"Oh kiss my ass" I mumbled before quickly covering my mouth,Miguel's eyes widen
"Woah did I just hear you curse in front of the boy?" Miguel spoke getting the other's attention "she just cursed" he pointed at me
Lexi dramatically gasped "y/n"
"Oh come on chica" Carlos mocked as josh shook his head looking disappointed
"She said a bad word" miguel repeated,I rolled my eyes
"I think they get it,tattletale" I slightly raised my voice before we bursted out laughing,Daniel giggled seeing us do so
Trying to figure out what to do next but I'll get it
