Y/N POV
Leandro continued to tap on the window before I heard the bell from the store door ring,I quickly looked over seeing Miguel leave with some ice creams in small cups
His jaw clenched once Leandro was in his sight,I prayed this didn't turn into something big.Leandro moved his head up seeing him
I had to stay with Daniel,my heart kept pumping loudly.I finally lowered the window "Leandro just go" I told him
"For what? You're here with Daniel-
"She's also here with me" miguel butted in "move away from my car"
"Or what" Leandro says now walking closer to miguel
"No! Stay away from him!" I demanded,Leandro glanced at me through the windshield as miguel did the same
"Please mikey,just get back in the car" I begged
"No.He's not going back in there where my kid is" Leandro said,miguel scoffed
"He's not your kid if you never claimed him" miguel spoke,Leandro glared.I watched his face grew in rage but Miguel didn't even look afraid or worried,he looked more nonchalant
"You think you know everything? Based on the shit she told you? Huh?" He says
"All I know is you're a piece of shit,especially for what you did to Lexi and the shit you put y/n through" miguel argues
I threw my head back just wanting this to be over,I didn't want them to meet.
"That's none of your business" Leandro spoke,miguel took a quick look at me,seeing how I'm uncomfortable with this encounter
"Let's go please" I mouthed to him,I watch him exhale heavily as he rolled his eyes
"Just stay away from them" miguel said before making his way to the car,i stared at Leandro that kept his eyes on miguel
Miguel stepped in,placing the cups of ice cream in the drink holders
"Hey!" Leandro shouted getting our attention "I'm not leaving you alone" he says pointing at me,I moved my gaze onto miguel
He sarcastically chuckled before opening his door again,I quickly grabbed his bicep "no mikey.please just leave it alone"
"He's not gonna stop y/n-
"I know but not now,I don't wanna do this right now" I told him.He sighed as he narrowed his eyes at Leandro,he wiped the corners of his mouth
"Fine" he muttered as he shut his door,he turned the key;turning on the engine.he moved the car forward to Leandro practically almost running him over
Leandro quickly stepped away "asshole!" He yelled,I face palmed "mama" Daniel spoke.I looked at him seeing his small chubby finger pointing at my ice cream
"Yeah baby,don't worry you'll eat" I say while rubbing his tummy
"You don't have to deal with that y/n,he's gonna keep following you and you heard what he said.He's not gonna leave you alone" miguel spoke as he kept his eyes on the road
"I know but let me handle it,you don't have to be involved"
"Don't have to be involved? You're my girlfriend I'm supposed to protect you" he ranted,my eyebrows furrowed
"Shit" he cursed under his breath after placing his elbow on his arm rest;covering his mouth "I'm sorry I know we're not there but..I want to protect you-I want to be there for you alright?"
I sighed "it's okay" I say placing my hand on his hand that was covering his mouth then pulling it down closer between and locking our fingers
He glanced as I gave him a soft smile,he chuckled while rubbing his thumb against my skin.He then brought my hand up to his lips,kissing my hand
"Mama" Daniel whined still pointing to the ice cream "I know honey,I know" I say before pulling from Miguel's hand
I grabbed my ice cream and spoon,I cracked the plastic cover off.I fed Daniel a small amount of ice cream,miguel took quick looks at Daniel smiling
TIME SKIP
miguel closed the car door behind me as I walked to the front door,I knocked on the door three times before it was pulled open by josh
"Hey,you okay?" He quickly asked
"We bumped into Leandro" I told him,his face dropped "can you watch Daniel for a while? I just gotta talk to miguel alone"
"Yeah of course" he says,he took Daniel from my arms then leaving the door crack open as I turn to face miguel who had his hands in his pocket.
He raised his eyebrows showing for me to talk "I know you want to protect me from him but mikey..he's so violent and I don't want you to get hurt"
He chuckled "oh chula" he spoke "I know I'm soft with you so it seems like I can't hurt a fly but I'm not afraid of nobody,I don't care what I gotta do as long as you're okay"
I smirked while playing with my rings "really?" I asked,he nodded as he stepped closer.He laid his hand on my jaw before leaning in and connecting our lips
I melted into his touch,he slowly pulled back while having strong eye contact.I wanted more so I quickly placed my hands on his face almost jumping on him and crashing our lips
I felt his lips form into a small smile against mine,he openly kissed me as I did the same.His hands roamed onto my waist gripping onto it,sending butterflies into places
I haven't been kissed like this before and I immediately loved it,I needed more of it.I needed more of miguel
I finally let go to breathe,he bit his bottom lip "I thought you didn't like me" he whispered
"Well you thought wrong" he raised his eyebrows,I held his hands as he kept placing gentle kisses on my cheek
The way miguel showed love,I was never used to it before.it's honestly so overwhelming but I know I have a thing for it now,it makes me feel at peace
He continued kissing my cheek before moving back to my lips again then pulling away "okay well if I keep going I'm never gonna stop" he teased
"I don't want you to" I blushed,he smiled "do you wanna come in? My brothers don't mind"
He nodded,I turned to push the door open seeing josh holding Daniel up like a bomb as he had a disgusted face "just find it in one of his bags" he told Carlos
Carlos rushed over to one of the bags I packed for Daniel,quickly unzipping it "what's going on?" I asked
"We have a number two situation" josh whined
"Make it stop!" Carlos raised his voice as he stood up with diapers in his hands,I laughed while rolling my eyes
"Ugh y'all are so useless,this is exactly why I say he's my child.Give me" I say reaching my arms out,miguel cackled
"Yeah sure whatever,just make him normal again" josh joked
