Throughout the day of working,miguel and I shared tons of looks.he always winked or smirked at me like he usually does but now it feels different after making out in the back.
It was the end of our shift,Thomas would be closing so miguel and I will be able to leave early.I walked in the back to grab my stuff
I zipped up my black sweater before picking up my purse "hey" I heard behind,I turned seeing him "I'm sorry for the move..I pulled earlier"
"Oh no.it's okay" I say while walking over to him,he lightly smiled
"Uh ready to get home?" He asks,I nodded
TIME SKIP
Miguel turned off the engine in front of my house,I gazed over to him seeing he was already watching me "I shouldn't have gotten mad for you touching Mason" he states
"It's okay,you have feelings" I say as I placed my hand on his that was laying on the arm rest,he smirked
"So..do you have those same feelings?" He says as his pupils gotten bigger,my lips form into a soft smile as I nodded
He then squeeze my hand before tightening his grip "so can I take you on a date this weekend?" I repeatedly nodded
"I will love to go on a date with you mikey" I whispered,he grinned before he slowly leaned in to connect our lips
His kisses were so addicting,I didn't want to seem desperate for them and we aren't even together.I don't know what we are but I just know we feel the same way towards each other
"See you tomorrow" I say after we broke the kiss
"See you chula" he muttered as I step out his car,I walk up the stairs before unlocking my front door.I glance over seeing him watching me
He winked as he laid his one hand on the wheel,I heard the engine turn one before he drove off.I smiled to myself
I walked in seeing Lexi on the couch on her phone,she jumped up when I was I sight "hey,how was work?" She asked
I just stared at her while tucking my lips in with a smile forming,she raised a brow "what?" She spoke
"So mikey and I kinda.." I say while unzipping my sweater,her eyes lit up
"No" she says
"Yes" I say,she gasped covering her mouth with one hand
"You guys kissed??"
"More than that,we made out" I say sliding my sweater off my arms,her jaw drops
"Perra" she teased while nudging me,I giggle as I felt my face flush "I told you he likes you-ugh you wanted to deny it"
She places her hand on her hip,I shrugged as I placed my purse on the side of the couch "where's Danny?" I ask
"Oh he's asleep,after eating,that food put him to bed like that" she says while snapping her fingers,I chuckled
"Thanks Lexi for taking care of the boy"
"You always thank me every time and I'm always gonna say the same thing,anytime" she smiles before pecking my cheek making me grin
MIGUEL POV
I shut them locked the door behind me,I glance over seeing Mason sprint downstairs "miguel can we talk?" He quickly spoke
"Hey,don't even worry about it" I tell him.his eyebrows furrowed
"You're not mad?" He asks,I shook my head as I place my keys on the key holder by the door "I was just saying how I feel sorry for her on what she went through with her baby daddy"
I chuckled "yeah she told me.it's cool man,I'm cool" I say with a smirk placed on my lips,Mason was confused as he analyzed at me
His eyes slightly widen as he pointed at me "something happened"
"What are you talking about?" I acted,he sucked his teeth "trust me I know you,I've been your best friend since high school" he states
"You always act like that when you do something" I scoffed
"Okay maybe y/n and I kissed but-
"You kissed??" He says raising his voice
"Well with tongue but yeah" I joke,he laughs as he pat my shoulder
"Holy shit,what-how did it happen?" He says as I sit on the couch,I slid my hoodie off and tossed it beside me
"It just happened,I couldn't help myself.it started with a little argument but..it turned into that" I say
He sits himself beside me "ou that had to be tense" he says,I nodded "yeah and I asked her out this weekend" I told him
"Finally! Imagine how the guys and Maddy gonna act? We've been wanting this since you met her" he says
It's true,they always pushed me to ask her out or do something about my feelings and knowing what she been through,I didn't know what she would've said but now I know
"Who knows,you can be Daniel's new dad" he nudged me,I raised my eyebrows
"Honestly I would love to be that kid's dad,his real dad ain't shit but I know I would be a better dad than he ever was" I say as I lean forward and locked my fingers together
He patted my back "I agree dude.But..his real father is in town,you have to watch out for him cause we don't know what his intentions are"
"Yeah and I have a feeling that his intentions aren't good,I hope he doesn't try to do anything.Do you think he knows where she lives?" I ask,he sighed
"I don't know man but I really pray he doesn't,I don't know what she's been through with him and I know for a fact,she doesn't want to see him"
I leaned back "I mean obviously.You saw how she got when she saw him at the fair,she wanted to go home right away and that just shows what's going on between them"
"But you're better miguel,you're a better man and more gentle with her.she threw herself at you,she feels safe with you and she even agreed to a date so that shows what's going on between you"
I exhaled deeply as I placed my head in my hands..
