Every few months or so, Dr. Sato would come by the castle to give the clan checkups. The gargoyles were all usually healthy and there were occasions where they got hurt pretty badly. It was approaching again and little Sil needed to likely be checked out in his health too.
Brooklyn had to tell him about it. He went to the young Skeksis and found him in the tv room, watching cartoons. "Hey, Chamberlain, what cha doing?" Brook asked.
"Watching cartoons. Why? Food ready yet?" Sil asked.
"No, not yet, but there is something that needs to be discussed." Brook replied.
"What needs discussing?" Sil glanced at his friend.
"This was a topic that even your father was often uncomfortable with, but it's just about a health checkup for you. Ever since you've been here, you haven't had a health check. We are all going to have checkups next week and you should have one too. We can't go to a hospital when we get sick or injured, so the doctors come to us. There is a medical ward here in the castle. I just wanted you to know what was going on. Will you allow yourself to have the doctor examine you?" Brooklyn asked gently.
"I don't like strange humans, Brooklyn." Sil replied.
"This one you will be introduced to. He'll become your primary doctor for when your health needs it only. He's not like the men you knew who raised you at first. He has saved Elisa's life, Goliath's, and even your father's a long time ago once." Brooklyn explained.
"Who is he?" Sil asked curiously.
"His name is Dr. Sato."
"Do I have to see him?" Sil asked.
"Given you're as young as you are, it would be a good idea. I know you're fine now, but he's just going to check on you. He's not going to make you do anything. And since you're a kid, he'll also give you a special treat when he's done." Brooklyn explained.
The treat word sparked Sil's interest. "Really?"
"Yes."
"Okay. Just not want him to hurt me." Sil stated.
"You just come and watch what happens with us. We'll all be there with you." Brooklyn said. "If you feel like you need someone to hold your hand, you can."
"Okay." Sil replied reluctantly.

The day arrived for Sato to come to examine the clan's health. He was told to bring a reward for little Chamberlain. He did. Given he remembered that the grown one he had treated a long time ago liked meat, he had a meaty treat.
Little Sil stayed close to Brooklyn. He watched how Dr. Sato examined each clan member.
Sato took their pulse and blood pressure. He listened to their lungs and heartbeat with his stethoscope. Brooklyn went last of the gargoyles. Then it was little Sil's turn.
"Okay, Sil, it's your turn." Lex said.
Sil looked nervously up at the new man. He backed into Brooklyn's legs, grabbing onto him. "I don't think I wanna..." He mumbled.
"Chamberlain, you need a health check just like the rest of us." Goliath said gently.
"Come on, we are right here with you. It's not that bad." Angela tried coaxing him to the table.
"Here's a special meat treat for you if you let me examine you." Sato said in a cheerful voice. He held up the reward.
Sil saw it and it sparked a bit of interest, though he was still nervous. "Okay, but don't leave me."
