It seemed that the gang was closer to Castle Wyvern than they knew. It was soon seen on the horizon. Brooklyn stood up and pointed his sword at it. "There it is! Castle Wyvern! Home sweet, decimated home."

"This was where the castle was originally from?" Sil asked, sitting close by his friend's feet.

"Yep. No one lives here right now. And what was left over of us living gargoyles are all under a sleep spell on the high tower." Brooklyn replied. "And here, Finella, you'll see what I mean when I said that I was originally in a stone sleep spell."

"Alright." Finella said.

"We just now have to get to the high tower to see if I can get Goliath's half of the Phoenix Gate." Brook stated. Mary then drove the cart through the broken wall. Brook looked up sadly and saw his leader. "And there's Goliath taking his one-thousand-year nap. His half of the Gate should be in his pouch. And it's the only way to get back to our century."

"But Brooklyn, isn't this your century?" Mary asked.

Sil looked up at his friend. Brooklyn looked down at him. He shook his head. "I was hatched in this century, but no, it's not my century anymore." Then he sat down to talk softer to the women. "Either way, I need to get you and Finella to safety. The Grimorum must be protected. It can't be allowed to fall into the wrong hands."

Mary stopped the cart in the courtyard and tied Magus up. Then they all got off the cart to head up to the high tower. Sil knew he wanted to see the gargoyles to know that they were all really in a stone sleep at night. It was unusual.

"How do we get up there? Is it the same way at home?" Sil asked.

"Yeah." Brook replied. Sil took off excitedly.

"Kid sure has energy to do things." Finella said.

"Yeah, he does. He has much to learn about being in this world where there aren't the same kind of events going on from what he knows in our century." Brooklyn explained.

"Children should be children, but it's not always possible." Mary declared.

"My clan told Chamberlain a while back that when we are in certain situations like what we are now, soon heading into a battle or bad situations that he needs to do as he's told, and he must do it without question. I'll do what I have to do protect him too." Brooklyn stated.

"Just hope he understands what you meant then." Finella said.

They continued up to the tower.

Meanwhile, a distance away, at Constantine's castle that used to belong to King Kenneth, Constantine was admiring himself in a mirror that was being held before him by Gillcomgain. He was deciding to change his look.

"Hold the glass straight, my boy." The king ordered.

"Yes, my Lord." The boy replied.

Constantine had long dark brown hair going down his back, but now, he was using a knife to cut it all off to now go bald. When it was gone, he poured water over his head and used a towel to dry himself. "Ah! That's more like it." Then he looked in the mirror again, liking his new look. "That creates the proper canvas. Don't you agree?" he asked the boy.

"As you decree it, King Constantine." Gillcomgain answered.

"Good answer." Constantine stated smugly.

"Your Majesty." Brigti said from the doorway. He and Valmont were bowing before their king respectively. "You sent for us?"

"I did, Mail Brigti. Our armies are assembled?" Constantine asked.
