Nia's pov

A few minutes later we finally arrived at Keshawn's parents house, and lemme tell you I was hella nervous.

"C'mon baby", he said.

I breathed in and climed out the car, I closed the car door and took Keshawn took Imani, he kissed my forehead and we walked in.

We were then greeted by a woman who I think is Keshawn's mom.

"Hi I'm Keshawn's mom", she said smiling at me.

"Hey I'm Nia", I said smiling at her.

"Well it's nice to meet you Nia", she said.

"Likewise", I said.

"And who is this cute baby", she asked.

"She my daughter", I said.

"How old are you again", she asked looking at me seriously.

"Mom stop", Keshawn said.

"Don't worry baby", I said.

"I'm 16 mam", I said.

"Is Keshawn the father?", she asked looking at me.

"No he's not", I said.

"Then where's the father?", she said.

"Um busy", I said.

I then looked down at my feet and saw Keshawn's hand had tightened, I took his hand and squeezed it.

"Mom let's eat", Keshawn said.

"Right", she said.

Keshawn took my hand and we walked to the dining room, I pulled out a chair and sat down, I put Imani on top of me and Keshawn sat next to me.

Keshawn's mom started to dish up and we started eating, she then looked over at me.

"So how do you manage to raise your daughter?", she asked.

"Uhh my daughters dad helps out", I said.

"Oh", she said.

"I'm sorry if I sounded mean earlier", she said taking my hand.

"It's fine", I said.

"Where's your mom dear", she asked.

I felt like tears were about to form, I blinked them away and looked at Keshawn's mom.

"Um she passed away", I said.

"I'm so sorry dear", she said.

"Don't worry", I said.

A few hours later Keshawn decided to take me home, when we arrived we walked in.

I put Imani to sleep and sat with Trayvon in the living room.

"Baby I gotta ask you something", Keshawn said.

"Yeah", I said.

"I want you and Imani to move in with me", he said.

"In your mother's house", I asked.

"Nah, I got my own apartment", he said.

"Well then okay", I said smiling.

He came closer and kissed me and I kissed him back, "Thank you", he said.

"I love you", I said.

"I love you too", he said.
